Winter Break from school - What dates?

Trying to see how the dates compare around the country.

What dates are your kids out of school for Winter Break?

I know there are two weeks off for Christmas and New Years although I'm not sure on exact dates.

Midwinter break is, I believe 2/14 to 2/22.

Then there is a week off for Easter.

To be clear I'm talking about the dates in Decmeber.

Kids in our area don't know what days they are off yet. A teacher strike shook things up.

NYC public schools Dec.24-Jan.5.

Our kids in Massachusetts are off from Dec 24-January 4th. First day back is the 5th.

Connecticut Public Schools - Dec 24 - Jan 5

Western Pa. - December 24-Jan. 4.

Our district gets out Dec. 19 (last day of school) and back in Jan. 5th.

We are in upstate NY and to our surprise we also get December 19 last day of class back in on January 5.

My DD goes to a private school in northern Ma. For some God forsaken reason they have to go in on Monday the 22nd and have a 1/2 day on the 23rd of Dec. They return to school on the 5th like the majority. I wish they'd rethink that one.

We are in Central TX. School vacation is 12/19-1/5.

Here in northeast TX it's from December 19 - January 5th.
