Does anybody remember drinking Wink soda? I haven't seen it in decades, and I don't know if it's still being made. It was Canada Dry's version of Fresca, a grapefruit flavored carbonated drink.

The photo is outside the flophouse Sun Hotel in Scranton, PA, where there recently was a big drug bust by the police.

I vaguely remember Wink. There was also something similar called Squirt, I think it may still be around. It''d be a weird thing to ask for at a restaurant. There was also something called Green River, I only ever saw it at movie theaters. I think it might have been similar to Mountain Dew, but it was bright green in color.

Yes, I remember Wink! I haven't seen it in years but I used to like it.

I vaguely remember Wink from childhood
My kids used to get Green River all the time.
We still get Squirt

Allegedly Wink is still around, renamed "CPlus Wink Twist". Squirt is still around. Anyone remember Chelsea? Budweisers attempt at selling soda, the twist, it had a touch of alcohol in it, but so little it was legal for kids to buy. Of course, I guess all Orange and Grapefruit sodas have a touch of naturally occuring alcohol in them.

I think I just had some a couple of months ago! I was looking for Squirt and they didn't have any but they did have Wink...I think. I'll have to look again when I go to the store and report back.

My New Jersey relatives always had Wink around for mixed drinks.

Never heard of Wink, but Squirt can be found all over Michigan. I thought it was a mainstream soda, like Coke?

Never heard of it. However, I do remember a lot of long lost soft drinks - some of which are still available in some places or possibly revived by new owners of the brand. Fresca is kind of hard to find now even though it's a Coca-Cola product. RC Cola is a fringe product now. There was a company that tried to compete with Coke and Pepsi called C&C Cola.

Now anyone remember Bubble Up?

Never heard of Wink, but Squirt is very common in MN. You can buy it everywhere.

Yes,

Yes, as far as I remember, Wink was used more as a mixer for cocktails rather than drunk straight.

I remember Bubble Up, but don't think I ever heard of Squirt. RC is next to impossible to find in bottles or cans, but a few pizza places still serve it as a fountain drink.

My favorite names are the knockoffs sold at Walmart or store brand names: Dr. Thunder, Mountain W, etc.
