hi, im not sure if im on the wright site. we are going to wdw in oct. we are think about going to the festival but dont know to much out it. has anyone gone? how does it work? any kind of info i would be greatful. thanks

it depends if you are going for the food or for the drinking - or both!

We usually hit Epcot and go clockwise around the world showcase hitting every booth that is not too crowded. No need for dinner reservations, there is plenty of food to eat everywhere. An ADR is a waste while "Drinking Around The World"

Pace the drinking so you don't fall down, but stumbling is allowed. In the evening do the circut again hitting anyplace that you missed or want to go to again.

Watch the "Eat to the Beat" concert over by America, drink and eat some more and finish with Illuminations. Catch the live music in Morocco, England and Canada. Stop in at the Rose and Crown Pub and see the Piano Lady's show.

Repeat as needed!!

It's alot of fun. We're going again this year for it. If you are interested in trying different foods (tapas portions) and trying different wines and beers then that's the place for you!
Just beaware that there are crowds, but that's part of Disney. If things get too crazy for you then you can always walk over to the Boardwalk or head back to your hotel for some relaxation. Admission to the Food and Wine Festival is the same as Epcot, so you're not paying any extra. So if you don't like it - you can just eat at the regular restaurants.
Enjoy!

And try to avoid the weekend, starting Friday afternoon. Gets very very crowded with locals.
