So I just realized that we are doing rope drop Saturday morning in AK, the same place and time the 5k is ending. Good or bad lol?

The course will be cleared and stuff will be starting to be packed up from the parking lot by 7:30. The start/finish line is over in the section that is the last parking lot to fill, so it won't impact a day guest at all. And if they keep to the size 5K's they have been holding, there will only be about 4-5,000 folks. There isn't much to do once you cross the 5K finish, except go freshen up at your resort or go to the Kid's Races at WWoS.

I was quite surprised to find this, they usually seem to wait until the last minute to have this ready. I signed up my email and text, and got a verification e-mail, but no verification text.

Did anyone else notice that the guide says there will be a "Clif Bar product" at mile 8.4, instead of Clif Shot like last years? Wonder if they will have something different?

I sure hope so. I don't like the gummy chew things that they always give out for W&D.

He is. When we decided to do this race we didn't realize we'd be missing his last Marine Corps ball. So we're going to run in patriotic gear to celebrate! (My husband would probably rather not, but I thought at least it's a different costume.)

I am wondering if the text alert is there but really active yet. You used to be able to enter a lot of phone numbers at the same time. This is not letting me do that now. Think I will wait a day or two.

Gotta get my costumes together since it looks like we might be making our way to Florida this weekend and I don't want to drag along all of my crafting/sewing stuff with me, especially since I finally figured out what I'm doing for Jingle Jungle!

I haven't even though of one yet! I may just slap together my usual Winter Solider costume. It is super easy and works in most weather.

I'm going easy-peasy as well - just cutting a bunch of HTV to iron on to some shirts. I'll probably make a run to Academy later for silly "accessories" to go with my half marathon outfit, but that's pretty much it.

I have all day pretty much free and a REALLY messy house, so if I mess it up even more before cleaning day tomorrow, my husband can't get too grumpy - right??

Looks like it's corral G for me, which is what it would have been based on last year's corral placements as well. I'm happy.

I checked yesterday at the airport, I think I am 6692? Or something like that. So that will put me in H also. I did not get a POT race in by the deadline so I had to use my PHM time with photo stops and what not, so I think I submitted a 3:00 time. I run a 11-12 min mile so hopefully I won't get too hung up. But in reality, corral H is still the halfway point numbers-wise. So I am hopeful I will be ok for crowding and lots of time at the after party.

I have a 10.5 scheduled this weekend and a 12 the following, and then something short like 4 miles before leaving on Thursday. Yay! But, my feet are in really, really bad condition right now! I have like 3 giant blisters on the bottom. I met a friend in Europe and we did Oktoberfest in Munich, Rome, Budapest, and a quick layover in London for me where she and her husband are living for the next few months for work. By the time I landed back in the states I could barely walk! So I am really hoping that my feet feel a lot better by Saturday for my run!

So, with the 5K, does it work the same as the half in terms of lower your bib number the earlier your corral? I know that with the one in Jan that theory didn't work...(but I got a three digit bib number for Jingle Jungle).

Got our magic bands today. Sadly no luggage tags. I wanted the cute new ones and thought we would get them since we booked a package Did anyone else book through runDisney and ger the cute new luggage tags? We got everything else including all our ME stuff just not those.
