My family will be at WDW 9/12-9/19. We are staying at Windsor Hills and have just had our final payment on the condo processed and received our directions, etc from the condo owners. By chance, my wife called WH with a question, and found out that the main pool will be closed for maintenance 9/12-9/14.
The only time we had scheduled to use the pool was during the days of the closure. We have contacted the owners, but other than re-arranging our schedule, which we do not want to do, I assume we're pretty much screwed.
We even inquired about pool closures before we booked, and were assured there were none. We are past the point where we could cancel and get our money back. So not only would we lose the money we've already paid, we would have to make another reservation for more than the original.
We have always stayed on property before, but with 3 kids now, we wanted the extra space, and the WH deal was too good to pass up. This is more of a venting post than anything. I just feel like we were misled.
