Window to use points for DCL

I can't find anything in my handbook about this, but I thought I remember reading/hearing that we could borrow ahead to use points for DCL. I need points from '03, '04 AND '05 to do a 7 night cruise. Is borrowing ahead in '05 okay just in the case of booking DCL. Any truth to this or have I created this in my head?

You can only agregate 3 years of points, one year each of banked, borrowed and current years points. You will not be able to borrow extra just for the cruise. The only way you could use the points you quote would be to cruise during your 2004 use year which you can schedule 11 months out while all of the cash cruisers are already booking up the cabins you want on deposits they can get a refund for if they want.
