I had it on 6 cards between myself and Hubby. We've started using them but now I'm going to check for the redemption and it's just gone: not in added, redeemed, expiring soon, or expired. Very frustrating!

ETA: there's one new card where this is the only offer we've redeemed. Even though I don't see the offer and the credit hasn't hit, the system shows $5 as the "total amount saved" on the card, so I'm hoping it's just in limbo and it'll show back up when the credit posts.

Also check your emails for Discover card. Myself and DH just got offer of $50 to add authorized user and
make a purchase. I added him and he added DD and will each purchase the gift cards in the morning.
(He has separate Sams acct).

Gone for me as well at least on the one card for sure I had it for on. I also use it on several cards so I hope it comes back purchased on April 27 for me.

I still have it showing on the two cards I didn't buy on yet and I have one more new card where it says $5 had been earned in offers but nothing showing up as redeemed. Feeling more confident that it's fallen off while it's processing but it'll reappear when it credits.

One way is to buy iphones at a discount and then trade them in to apple for a gift card. For example, you can get an iphone 13 from metro pcs for around $129 after tax and trade it in to Apple for a $225 gift card. You need to have a number from Verizon (or a Verizon subsidiary) or ATT to port in to get the discounted price. There is a whole forum on slickdeals dedicated to this - I have linked to it below. Other than that, you would be limited to Amex offers or supermarket/store deals which usually are only around 15 - 20% off.

Chase does that sometimes, oddly enough, when it disappears it's a good indication that it was successful! I agree, it sounds like it's in a little limbo while the crediting process works out.

So I have a few Shell $25 gift cards that I received as a promotion from Office Depot (They have these promotions that if you make a $125 purchase, you get a free $25 gift card). Because the Shell station near my house is usually 30 to 40 cents more than Costco, I save these Shell gift cards to use when we need gas and we aren't going near the Costco.

So on March 11, I used the Shell gift card to purchase $15 worth of gas, leaving the gift card with a $10 balance. The gift card was swiped at the pump and then given back to me by the attendant. When I went to use the remaining $10 today, it said it had no balance and when I called Shell, they said it had been used up at a shell station last week. At no time was the gift card out of my hand other than the 30 seconds when it was swiped in March. And the PIN wasn't even scratched off until today.

My guess is there was a skimmer at the gas station. I'm guessing skimming gift cards is very lucrative, since there is very little chance the police would get involved if a credit card is not involved.

My recommendation for anyone else who uses Shell physical gift cards or any gift card that needs to be swiped would be to use up the full balance at one time. (Unfortunately, Shell does not allow physical gift cards to be added to their app, the only way to use them is for them to be swiped.)

Not a direct discount but Target has sales when they will give you a $10 Target gift card on a $100 Apple Card. You can use your Target Red card or V/MC picked up from OM/OD/Staples with an ink cash to save an extra 5%.

Sometimes they do this sale when a target circle offer is going on ie spend $xx 3 times get circle rewards.

Other than that our Grocery store routinely gives 10% off in the form of mperks that can be used for groceries or gas although I generally just grab a $500 Disney card to hold for DVC Dues.

I can confirm this happened to me and I got the credit. After I made my purchase at CVS the offer disappeared from the "Added" section. I freaked out at first that I never added it but I could also no longer find the offer in the Offers section.
Then about 4 or 5 days later I got the $5 credit on my recent transactions and statement. It also shows up in the "Redeemed" section now.

I don't recall this happening for Dollar General offers I've done in the past, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention much.

It says redeemed on April 22, but my original purchase was on April 18 (posted 19th). So I would say you're good if it's gone from "Added".

I don't recall this happening for Dollar General offers I've done in the past, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention much.

I know I've had other offers where it moved from Added to Redeemed and I could see the credit amount there before it actually hit my statement. Seems like maybe this is a glitch with this offer.

i thought that i read the trials had a 10% surcharge on any purchase made? is that not correct? that would ultimately negate the savings

I just looked at the full T&C. Looks like it is on purchases made AFTER the trial ends on cancelled/unrenewed memberships? I need to buy my LL/premiere LL (taking my 82-yr old mom in 2 weeks, and it’s a splurge trip) soon anyways, so I’ll test it. . If I wind up with the surcharge, it’s the same as if I had bought them without the membership. I may not be able to report back before this offer ends, but we’ll all know for next time.

I can get a Sam's basic membership for 20 and a new BJs membership for 25+10 bonus cash or 50+20 for the plus.

Are these two the best I'm going to do on both? BJs I can wait on as my card expires tomorrow but Sam's I'm itching for May 2nd.

edit: I referred my wife (who also added me as a second member) for $15 and hopefully I get the $10 referral reward tomorrow the last day before the membership expires. Now I need that Sam's!
