Will you be "seeing in" the New Year?

We are having company over so we will will awake.

lol, company never guarantees I'm awake at midnight.

I can say with 99.9% certainity that I will be asleep in about an hour...gosh I sound old...kids have been arguing all day, and all I want to do is crawl into bed and watch tv until I fall asleep..

I'm never asleep by midnight so, yes, I will see it. But I'll probably be doing something as exciting as reading or watching Roseanne reruns, just like every other night!

My family's not big on the whole partying thing. We just got back from the soccer game we always go to and dinner at our favorite restaurant. We might just play some games and we'll probably put on the New Year's Rockin Eve show. Who knows if I'll stay up till midnight.

I'm really trying, but don't know if I'll make it or not..

For some odd reason I feel like there's something special in store for 2010 - and I should stay awake to see it in - but I'll be darned if I know what it is.. Whatever "it" is, I'm feeling very, very optimistic about it - so that's definitely a "good" thing..

If I can just hang in there for another half-hour.........

The only reason I'm up is that I wouldn't let DD17 drive tonight so I'm picking her up from a party at her boyfriend's.
