I rather bring one large charger than a couple of smaller ones....with this be an issue? I don't want it taken away. Has anyone gone through TSA with a larger battery?

20,000 what? 20,000 milli-amps (mAh)? No problem. Mine is a bit smaller than an average paperback, and I've carried it on times past counting. (Has to be in carry-on, though; Li-On batteries are banned in checked baggage -- they need to be where you can reach them at all times so that if they begine to overheat and cause problems, you can get to them quickly to stop the fire. They should also always be carried with the terminals shielded with a non-conductive substance.) Useful for multiple devices on a really long flight. I don't take mine to parks, though -- too heavy to schlep around.

Here is the FAA rule:
Size limits: Lithium metal (non-rechargeable) batteries are limited to 2 grams of lithium per battery. Lithium ion (rechargeable) batteries are limited to a rating of 100 watt hours (Wh) per battery. These limits allow for nearly all types of lithium batteries used by the average person in their electronic devices. With airline approval, passengers may also carry up to two spare larger lithium ion batteries (101-160 watt hours). This size covers the larger after-market extended-life laptop computer batteries and some larger batteries used in professional audio/visual equipment.

Now if you tried to carry on something like a Tesla Powerwall, I think that you'd definitely get questions, LOL.

Yeah, you can tell I'm a real techie...20,000 mAh.......I don't even know what the letters meant. Plug in, hit button. That's my level of tech knowledge.

I have a couple of lipstick size ones for the park. I was just thinking of traveling and grandkids watching videos, games etc.

A few yrs ago, my DDIL had a 13,000 taken from her while passing through China on her way to the Philippines.

I know different country, different rules, but I just wanted to check. Thanks for the help.

TSA will not have a problem with that.

my husband and I each carry one that is about the size of a hard drive, and there's never been any question from TSA.
