I do not bring my coach purse in to the parks. To many things can happen. I always do a book bag or cheap purse. Nike used to sell nice waterproof purses.
I would probably end up buying a black one. I like the new styles the have with like the white, maroon, and black colors, but I would be afraid it would get super dirty looking! I cannot believe you got all that to fit in thereThat all depends on how you pack it and if your ok with it getting a little wrecked. I had one just like it in a bronze leather from coach and was able to stuff it to the rim with an epipen, ventolin, 4 benadryll chewables, tampons, pantyliners, 1 credit card and 1 ktwc, a lip gloss and kid you not a hand sanatizer. I was so happy that trip that I didn't need to carry anything else. But when it was cold I got stuck carrying a sweater all day for the night time. Oh and where it gets wrecked is when you stown your bag for rides mine just looked dingy to me after the trip. I also do remeber it felt heavy like on my wrist but nothing bad just like I knew I had it overstuffed.
Currently my new park bags consist of a vera bradley messenger bag. The one I purchased was last December its not as big as the current messanger its closer in size the current hipster but a nicer cut in my opinion and a envirosax. I can fit everything in my bag its very comftorable and it fits perfectly in the ride storage webbing thingy. If I want to carry bigger sweater etc I can throw it in the envirosax with my bag and still wear it over shoulder and then I can fold up the envirosax in the evening or fill it with whatever I end up buying along the way.
Only you know how much you need to carry. I advice making a test run at home filling the bag with what you think you'll carry to the parks with you. Or at least stacking those items for yourself to visualize how much space you need.
I WISH I could do that. It was my original plan, but I know at least that we will want our camera, so I will need a bag no matter what. At least if it is smaller it will work. I agree on the bag line! lets get a one bagger line, and a multi bag line!! HAHAThat's really cute and I say go for it if you think that would be the best option for you.
Just know though, you'll still have to have it checked at every park, everytime you go in. I had a bag half the size of that last time my fiance and I were in the World and I hated having it checked.
So next year, if we go there for our honeymoon, I'm going to combine our stuff and just keep it in his wallet. So only the absolute basics that can fit in his wallet will be in there. That's it. We're even cutting down to one cell phone, since we'll always be together while there.
I'm so tired of waiting in line with people that have a bazillion bags that need to be checked. It would definitely be nice if they had an express line, for the light travelers with the singular tiny bag.![]()
I am also a huge fan! I very rarely ever carry my purse, and when I do it is a smaller coach purse with my wristlet in it! LOL. Coach also has bags like this, so I am thinking about taking a look at those as well.I think that's plenty large enough for what you'll need to carry. I'm a big wristlet fan. For our last four trips, I've used a Dooney and Bourke cross-body bag. It's a little larger than your wristlet and has three separate compartments, which I like. The main thing for me is that it allows me to feel it's secure and my hands are free.
OH YES! They have those sport ones with the caribeaners (spelling??) on them. I would be able to fit a small one in it, but if it didnt I could attach it.Who is going to be carrying the sunscreen? I guess you could get a small tube to fit in there, but you'll have to get a couple of them for your trip.
haha i have what i thought were small fingers! lol i am a bigger woman, but my fingers are a 6 1/2. My hands work though that I can slip it on my wrist, or even down towards my elbow, and be fine! I use wristlets now almost eveywhere I go.I don't get wristlets, don't they just slip right off your wrist (I have very small wrists and fingers, my ring finger is a size 3.5)? Do you have to hold it in your hand the whole time? That would really annoy me, lol.
I like to have a crossover bag, personally. For one, I don't have to worry about it slipping off my shoulder, secondly, I have scoliosis, so one shoulder is noticeably higher than the other one, so I can't put anything on the low shoulder, or that hip, for that matter. So I have to carry the kids on the left side. With a crossover bag, I can put the strap over my left shoulder, but the bag sits on my right, so I can still carry a kid on my left hip. Not something you have to worry about, but that's the way I have to do it.
That was My worry as well!!! I was always worried about leaving it behind. Good to know I will be able to get it on the rides. When we go to Universal I dont plan on taking any bag at all. Future hubby will just have to have the camera in his pocket when we go on rides. I don't mind carrying it the other times! I am going to look into those crossover bags coach has.If you can make a wristlet work, then go for it!Practice if you feel the need, and have a backup plan if you are worried.
Personally, I used to carry a cross-body bag (as small as I could find). But the past year, I just leave the purse at the hotel (bag hidden in a drawer under clothes, valuables in the safe) and use my pockets. I enjoyed the freedom of not having to keep up with a purse. The video recorder was either carried by hand, or placed into one of DH's pockets (those huge pockets on the side of his shorts).
I also kept a small tube of sunscreen in DH's pocket, as well. It was enough to last a couple of days, and we refilled it as needed.
Also, I when I carried a bag (or if I was toting around purchases), I took it on every ride with me -- even if DH wasn't riding. Sometimes they went in the floor, and my feet held them in place, other times in the seat with me, like on my lap or behind me. Even if "cubbies" were offered, I would be worried about leaving them there. At a local park, I see too many people exit a ride and go "shopping" at the counter where guests are advised to leave their items (hats, cups, non-valuables, etc.) while riding.![]()
I have never seen those!! I will def. have to look for them. That seems like a great idea. We are driving so I am not worried about how much we pack. I could definitely just bring a tub of it, and use those to reapply at the park! You said you like wristlets and it's what you carry often, so I think this one would work great for you! It's very cute and should hold what you need.
Someone else mentioned sunscreen- you can get individually wrapped, single use sunscreen toweletts. We used those last year and they worked great! Applied regular sunscreen from a tube before we left the room and threw a couple packages in my bag to reapply later. No sunburns!
OH MAN! can't imagine having to by a luggage back once getting there. I also have one of those, i think they are swimmer bags. I Can just bring that, empty, and if I feel that wristlet isn't work I can just use that. It was what my mom used the first and only trip we took. She didn't go on a ton of the rides , so we never had to think about what to do with our bag!I'm a little hesitant to say yes. I personally hate wristlets because I get annoyed at having to hold them on, and I definitely couldn't do it for 12+ hours in a theme park all day! I use a belt bag from Gucci so I'm hands-free but not weighed down. (I only say Gucci because their style of belt bag seems to be a LOT different than others I've seen, compartment-wise, etc.) I would maybe ask for something a little bigger and with the ability to be shoulder carried, just because you may end up carrying more than you thought as the trip progresses or the day goes on. I also bring with me one of those Nike drawstring backpacks, since it's so lightweight, easy to clean, and collapsible. This way I can put it around my ankle on rides, throw little purchases inside, and still not be weight down.
Okay, I think what I'm trying to say here is I would bring the wristlet but another bag too just in case you need to switch and don't want to buy something there! My friend had to buy an entire suitcase there before and it was insanity haha!

I have a Coach outlet by my house, and find AMAZING holiday deals. I got four of my bridesmaids coach wristlets for under a $100!!!!!I would never carry a wristlet in the park - it would make me crazy! That said I only carry a wristlet to an evening type event so I'm not really used to them. Depending on what we're doing (and how much stuff we need) I normally carry a tiny cross body bag or a backpack.
I also would not carry anything expensive that you care about to the parks. It is a messy place. I often carry Dooneys but not one that I paid more that $30 at the outlets.
Sutton? I have never heard of it but I will have to take a look! I guess i should have used a different word instead of wristlet. Coach considers it a wristlet, but the actually wallet is about twice the size of a traditional wristlet. Thanks for the tip!!!I, personally, wouldn't want to do a wristlet at the parks. I'd be afraid because it's so small that it might fall out of the "please put your bag in here" pockets certain rides, or that it would dangle too much while I'm trying to carry counter service food/drinks, and snacks.
If you just love Coach, how about the Sutton crossbody pack? They also have it in the Kristen, and I've seen it with the poppy material that is also very cute. Also very reasonably priced. I've seen them for under $50 at the outlets.
I have the same one in the smaller size. I use it for a little camera bag. Before kids, I too carried much less stuff!!!
However, in addition to your list, I'd need my camera, sunblock, sunglasses, and possibly a water bottle. Earlier this year I got a black Coach backpack at the outlets. I use it at Disney and it works great. It's the same fabric as your wristlet. It repelled water very well, when we got caught in a downpour. It's also really rugged.
My sister uses a crossbody when she goes to Busch Gardens. It's bigger than the wristlet, yet not too big.
Congratulations! That sounds SO romantic! My fiance and I will be going to Disney on our honeymoon next september. I love Coach, and was thinking about asking for a new something for there for Christmas. I was just wondering if anyone had advice as to how something like this would work for our trip. I plan on just bringing my KTTW card, our honeymoon registry gift card, some cash, my camera and cell phone (blackberry). Fiance will have cargo shorts on to put his cell and small camera in as well, and I can throw it in my bag if needed. I have heard so many people carrying backpacks and big bags, and I don't want to have to lug around anything that big. What does everyone think of this? It is their large wristlet.

Love this! Both bags are so nice it's too hard to choose!![]()
This might be even better!
Me too!! I love my fanny pack(s) -- WDW only, of course! I have to have my hands free so I wear a fanny pack aka hip bag. I have both of these and a LV one that I use just for Disney. If that is all you are bringing, I think it will work. I only carry a small fanny pack myself. I think the folks that bring bigger bags are those who have children and have to carry snacks and diapers, etc.
Have fun and congratulations!![]()
I know for a fact Neiman Marcus carries the Gucci Belt bag. Gucci also has a solid black one that mirrors the monogram one.My cross body bag is a Disney Dooney, perfect for the parks. I am getting a Disney dooney messenger, as well.
Those Gucci belt bags, is that just a Gucci fanny pack? Does being Gucci make it cool? Back when I wasn't too embarrassed to wear a fanny pack, it was totally the way to go in the parks. But if Gucci makes it OK....
