Just plain old room only discounts? When do they actually come out if they are going to have them?
Do they not have them when they are having a special year, like anniversary/birthday years?

They are offering room only discounts. You just need to be a AAA member or an AP holder. If you are wondering about room only discount codes that might be avaiable to the general public then I can say that I have not seen anything about those yet. Check out www.mousesavers.com for historical information on when general public codes were released in the past.
