Will there ever be a M&G for Rey?

Disneyland has Captain America and Thor... Cap's face is partially covered with his mask, but Thor's face is uncovered. I don't see anyone really caring about if their friends aren't clones of the actors that play them.
I think a Rey meet and greet would be awesome.

A Rey meet and greet would be awesome and I would be in line to meet her! I really don't think we'll ever see one though because Disney doesn't really seem to care about making Rey a focus. I do know a reason they don't have a Giselle m&g or use her anywhere is because of royalty issues, having to pay Amy Adams to use her likeness. Could Rey in the parks be more of an issue with that?

That's a possibility. However, it all comes down to contracts and agreements. I would assume that Amy Adams would be in more trouble for dressing like Giselle than for Disney having someone who looks like Amy Adams playing Giselle...a character they own. It would take a high profile actress to get a contract that would prevent Disney from hiring someone who looks like them portraying a Disney owned character. Amy Adams wasn't that high profile when she made Enchanted. And Daisy Ridley certainly was not well known before TFA.

Would definitely wait in a long line to meet Leia! She could even qualify to be with the other princesses at MK! Rey would be awesome too, and with her scarf/mask, finding "matches" would be fairly easy. They'd also need someone who has/can do a British accent.

Star Wars Weekend was a limited time event. Having Rey as a permanent presence would probably entail a lot more than finding a couple of girls who look enough like her and can carry off the performance aspect. Star Wars characters with a more permanent presence in the parks are generally either masked or wear heavy makeup (or are droids). You don't ask Darth Vader or Kylo Ren to take off their masks, and if you do they can refuse while staying in character. If Rey wore a mask to camouflage a performer who doesn't actually resemble Ridley, how often might she be asked to remove it by kids or other guests?

Captain America and Thor began their existence as comic book characters. Although they do appear to hire guys who somewhat resemble the Chrises, maybe a little more slack goes to them because of their comic book backgrounds. Rey would have to be perfect.

It would be so great if there was more a presence of her in the parks. But the casting would be quite difficult. Not to mention the fiasco with merchandise where she was literally not in any merch that had to do with the film for the first couple of months of release, they probably in the back of their minds still don't think she would be that large of a draw.

I could see them possibly having her appear in a stage show, but not a close-up meet and greet where the guests actually expect to interact with her.
