It seems to me that the time it is taking from deed recording to points in account is shorter than it had been! That is a great sign!

And it seems to me that buyers are getting answers on ROFR more quickly too. Maybe that $500 fee is supporting additional CMs to move resales along, as I think we all hoped it would.

Possibly. I can only speak from my experience, but I’ve had 3 contracts close out in Feb/Mar. 49, 51 and 39 days in that order.

And the latest took 6 days from offer to sending to ROFR

Also, pro tip. Don’t wire the money until you have confirmed that the seller has returned their properly executed documents. That can take them weeks sometimes. Personally, I’d rather have that money earning interest in my account rather than the title company.

My wire instructions have always came with my closing documents. There is one broker who accepts Zelle for final payment.

So ours did as well. Our bank cautioned us on wiring the money prior to speaking to the agent via phone.

I'd call the escrow agent/company, not the sales agent

The title company I have used says in their closing package to call and verify the information. I mean, I'm not too worried about it - the closing package came to me through Docusign. It would be pretty difficult to fake all of that and get me wiring instructions that were wrong. But, calling to verify is just never a bad idea when you're wiring money.
