Will there be anything left? Summer 2016

I am getting extremely frustrated with my resale purchase. I knew that it would be a long process, but it doesn't appear that I will be closing anytime soon and then it is another 3 weeks get into my account. If I don't close until mid December, I will be lucky to be able to book by the end of the year.

I have a trip planned (booked with cash as of now) for June 20th. I was hoping to be able to use my points at BCV (my soon-to-be home resort), but it looks like I am going to be well after the 7 month date. Anyone have any ideas as of what will be available? Are BLT and BWV out of the question at less than 6 months?

Please tell me that it will be okay and something will be available. I know that it isn't the "busy" time of year for DVC, so I am hoping it will work out.

Something will be available, it just might not be BCV or BWV. Depending on the room size you are looking for, you might be ok at your top resort choices, but be prepared for Kidani, OKW or SSR.

Summer 2016 has a far bit of availability still. You might need to split but you should get something.

Thanks for reassuring me. I was planning on a studio, but could do a 1 bedroom. Maybe I can use this trip as a chance to see other resorts.

We are also in that waiting period after ROFR and haven't closed yet. It's annoying because I wanted to book VGC right at 7 months for our Summer trip but that has come and gone. So I guess we will be holding off on Disneyland until Summer 2017. Hopefully we'll close this week and have membership # by December so I can book our April Star Wars race trip (most likely at SSR or OKW since it's so close to the date already) and our Summer WDW trip (instead of Disneyland boo) at Kidani, SSR, or OKW.

Bewtween 6 and 5 months out you are likely to find open for week of June 19: studios at AKV Kidani, SSR, and OKW; some chance for BLT lake view and BWV pool/garden view studios but a 1BR in those would be more likely; BCV is a very low chance for studio and 1BR.

Yeah, I think we are in the same boat. We are 45 days since Disney passed on ROFR and still no closing docs. I don't think our title company has any intention of closing before the last possible moment.
