will there be any room discounts for 1/07?

I'm helping a few friends who will be going in January. Can they expect any discounts(even AAA )?

As of right now Disney has not released any information on 2007 packages. You can call Disney Travel and the can give you rack rates for rooms so far, but packages and things have not been released. The woman I spoke to at the travel company said mid-end of september.

I would certainly expect AAA rates. I would also imagine that there will be some sort of discount for January---it's a pretty slow month.

We have reservations at the BWI for January. I am hoping to apply a AAA discount to my rate as soon as they are released.

I was wondering the same thing. We weren't planning on going this year, but the kids want to go so badly. I would like to go the begining of Dec., but if there is some better incentive, January would work too. Is there a place that shows what the deals have been historically. I sure would like the free dining, but it looks like it is a hurricane season thing only. Is that true?

We went in JAN/FEB 2006. The code came out at the very end of OCT and it was an upgraded ticket (free park hoppers) and a small discount on the rooms. We saved a little over $200 on a 6 day/7 night stay in the value resort.

Yep, free dining usually falls in hurricane season - but hurricane season runs from June 1 - November 30, so any deal they would offer could fall in those dates also

We went the first week of January 2006 ... we were able to use a AAA on room-only (we purchased our tickets before the price increase). The overall price at ASMu was quite reasonable as it was during "Value Season".

We have reservations at FW for late April 2007 (Regular Season) and hope to apply the AAA discount. I phoned last week to inquire about 2007 AAA codes and was told to call again in mid-August.
