I booked a trip for this summer and will be arriving on Sunday, July 5. With the special edition of the fireworks show still going on that night, should I be worried about Magic Kingdom being really crowded and potentially have issues with Lightning Lane or dining reservations?

If there are special fireworks then yes, I believe crowds will be increased.

They ARE being nationally televised the night before you’re there… it’s a holiday weekend… just prepare accordingly.
