Hi Folks,

My mom and I are heading to the world in three weeks (spur of the moment trip- just booked it Friday) and we're dining at Kona. I picked that restaurant because I'm really into sushi lately, so I'm wondering if all the sushi offerings will still be available despite the Kona Sushi Bar temporarily closing. I don't want to go to Kona if I can't get the sushi!

TIA!

Kona Island (outside Kona Café) stopped making sushi quite a while ago. It is made inside Kona Café. You can still order it at Kona Island later in the day when they start serving food just like every other item on the Kona menu.

So it would be possible to sit at the bar in Kona Island and order sushi and a Lapu Lapu?

Once Kona Island reopens you should be able to order any food from Kona Café there and any drink from the bar.
