I'm in single digits?

I'm...in...single...digits????

I'M IN SINGLE DIGITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:woohoo:

Thanks for pointing out the obvious I didn't even realize! CP, what would I do without you?:goodvibes

Well, if all goes according to plan, he's with TK and Tinkerbellarella.

Because this is the moment...my final test...destiny beckons, I'll never reckon second bestttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!! NoJekyllandHyde.

More like Jack Sparrow.

The Captain Jack Sparrow...immortal, if you will. Well, I like that.

Mustquoteitis- a genetic disorder common to at least two, if not more DISers, resulting in the desire to quote multiple movies, books, musicals, etc...more research to follow after...

I MEET TINK!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, two weeks from today, I'll meet Tinkerbellarella.

But first, I have to kidnap Captain Jack.

Well, actually that's not the first thing on the agenda today. I know, I know, priorities. However, I do have a little pirate clan to take care of, and we do have some plans.

This would be Saturday, the 20th, and it's our last full day in the World. Not to fret, my friends. Ever since booking the later flight on our leaving day, I'm secure in the knowledge that I have PLENTY of time on my hands to do whatever. Soooo nice, I say. So very nice.

So today, we have a lunch planned at one of my favorite places to eat in the whole World and the world, for that matter. Today, at 1145, we'll be dining at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends! :woohoo:

Some would consider it unnatural that a grown woman about to celebrate an almost unspeakable birthday in one short year would be so excited over silly ole Pooh Bear.

Those people, however, are not reading this report. :lmao: ;)

I love Winnie the Pooh. He is my favorite. When I think of favorites, I do have some categories, like Belle is my favorite princess. Tarzan is my favorite man in a loincloth. You know, the usual. I needn't state my favorite pirate, eh? But Winnie the Pooh is my favorite childhood memory. He's my favorite character, and I have a bit of a theory about characters. I think that we tend to gravitate towards characters most like our own personalities, or what we strive to be. Case in point, Belle and I both love reading, are independent in nature, and strive for something more. Similarly, Winnie the Pooh and both love honey. :lmao: But seriously, if there's any kind of bear to be, it's a Pooh Bear. And I can't describe to you how I feel when I see him. Of course, I let DS have his visit first, but I am not ashamed to jump up, and say "Pooh Bear!" or something to that effect, and ask politely for a hug, or just throw my arms open wide, however the moment takes me. Let me tell you, folks, for that brief moment in time, when I get that wonderful ole bear hug from Pooh, I'm about five years old. That hug is warm, and soft, and a whole plethora of happy childhood memories. It's the Hundred Acre Wood, Christopher Robin, the blustery day, hunny pots, bees, and everything else I remember all rolled in to one. And it's just so wonderful.

The buffet is just a bonus. Icing on the cake, if you will. Good food and meeting Winnie the Pooh all rolled into one? Seriously, what more could a girl ask for? (:::ahem::: JACK SPARROW)

So after we've partaken in our lunch, perhaps we'll head over to Adventureland and work on some carefully laid out plans. ;)

We'll figure out whatever we want to do in the Magic Kingdom (tee hee ;) ;) ) and then, when we're feeling the distant call of rum, we'll head on over to the Poly.

Round about the hour of four.

For something I've been looking forward to for a LONG time.

And that's Lapu Lapu Fest 2008. Hide the rum!:lmao:

I can't describe to you how much I've been looking forward to meeting Tink and her friend Missy. How nice it will be to just sit in the Tambu Lounge with some rum infused drink and chat with some good friends. Because even though I haven't met Missy yet, if she's a friend of Tink's, she's a friend of TK's, savvy?

And don't we all think that at this point in the trip, TK just may need a little estrogen thrown into the mix?

I honestly can't wait. I can't wait for this meet, I can't wait to see Tink, can't wait, can't wait. I'm selfishly glad it's at the end fo my trip so I have something to look forward to, and it'll keep me from experiencing those little Disney blues we start to get on our last days.

Tink, I didn't know there could be another person on the planet who was so similar to me. And one of the things that amazes me, is not only all the cosmicly weird connections and twists of fate we share, and the simple fact that if it weren't for my clicking on a little ptr with a catchy title, we never would have met. I'm lucky for the DISboards. That I've discovered so many wonderful friends on here. If I listed you all and what you mean to me, we'd have a whole other chapter going on here, but you know who you are. I've gotten support from this group that is true and rare. I've gotten varying viewpoints, you've all cheered in my corner when I needed it, and I hope I've done the same for you.

It's this bond that Tink and I share that is so rewarding. The bond of true friendship. I look forward to celebrating it.

And I have a little something up my sleeve. Something I can't talk about or post because dang if Tink doesn't read these here boards. :lmao: Suffice it to say there's some craftiness going on. Some gifty sort of craftiness. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.;)

After we've imbibed, and left the bartender wondering, "But why is the rum always gone," we'll go our separate ways. Tink and Missy to their ADR, the TK clan back to the MK.

Because, weather permitting...:worship: :worship: :worship: ....tonight, I have a date folks.

A date with Spectromagic. NOSpectrocurse.

And that's a fine way to end what I assume will be a near perfect day.

As long as the good captain's still with us. Although I'm fairly certain once I've gotten him to the Tambu Lounge, the rum drinks will be an easy sell. ;)

YOU

are my soul-sister....!

Whooda thunk it?!.....another I'd-die-to-meet-Pooh lover in our midst?!!! Is he not the coolest bear ever?

Or, as Tink would put it,

Coolest. Bear. Ever.

I could ride the Pooh ride over and over, too. Somethin' 'bout climbing into that honey pot and floating through the Hundred Acre Wood....:cloud9:

Heffalumps and Woozles....

Piglet's Floody Place....

Ah, sweet bliss!

I MEET TINK!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup, two weeks from today, I'll meet Tinkerbellarella.

Why yes, yes I AM just a wee bit jealous!

Now you do know I love a crafty surprise!

I so love Animal Kingdom :lovestruc I think the only 3 things I haven't done/seen there are Flights of Wonder, Everest and the character trails at Camp Minnie-Mickey. All of which we will do this year. And to me the train ride out to Rafiki's Planet Watch is worth it just for the animal mural and the restrooms! Not to mention that a train ride is always a pleasant way to have a rest. I can't wait to hear how much you manage to see/do on this visit to AK.

Oh, I am just dying to do the character trails, so much fun. And I've never ridden the train or made it to Rafiki's Planet Watch. I think DS will have a great time, I can't wait to explore this park!:thumbsup2

Now THAT is a plan! :thumbsup2

And, for LL's sake:

1) Meet up with TK @ Casey's
2) Have a hot dog (and cheese fries!!)
3) Browse Pooh-related merchandise

Oh, you had me at meet up at Casey's. :sad1:

Is it possible that two people could be so well suited? ;)

Well, apparently it is! Oh, I'm so looking forward to this. I am going to do my very best to get in some kind of rest or siesta so I'm not a raving lunatic from being up since 330am when you meet me.

Although raving lunatic does have its endearing qualities...although better for kidnapping Jack Sparrow.:lmao:

Now that I could go for!! Although I highly doubt Disney would look very favorably upon such an endeavor and we'd get our little selves kicked right out!! :rotfl:

And why am I DISing when I should be packing?!!!?

Get thee to a suitcase, girl! Have you not started yet?

Phew....I am caught up. My eyeballs hurt!

Can you listen to LL for just a second? A wee second? LL wasn't feeling Toy Story Mania before her trip. She was meh about it, you could say. Well, LL got fast passes for it at park opening and was she glad she did! Do it. Have DH power walk to TSM (that's what LL did) to get fast passes and enjoy it. Trust LL. DS will love it. DH will love it. TK will love it. You can thank me later. :thumbsup2

All of your plans sound great! I can't wait to tell you more about my trip, I think you will be so proud. ;)

Caught up already?? Very impressive. It took me most of the week!

Welcome back! Hope you had a wonderful vacation!!!:)

All the plans sound like fun. Can't wait to hear all about your Lapu Lapu meet with Tink!

Thanks, I'm looking forward to it!

Wow, girl! That was some fast readin'! How late were you up last night?:lmao:

Alright.;)

I'm sensing that you may have been slighlty pirate-y. Perhaps even TK influenced if you will.

I am excited at this prospect. ::rubs hands together devilishly::

:And, Tink. How do I love thee for posting junky apples? Let me count the ways...

One one thousand...
Two one thousand...

;)

NoMagicSpinnyCompass.

Not what you're referring to here but have you seen The Golden Compass yet? BF and I enjoyed it. Very true to the book.

I've heard the globe is out for refurbishment. Which makes me wonder if the shortened version of Illuminations is going to do it for me, so to speak. Illuminations is my favorite. I have a lot of emotional memories tied up in this, and I haven't seen it in a while. To see it not in its true form would be...well, weird. But, I've also heard rumors, albeit rumors, that they're working on something to replace it, which makes me think I should at least try to see it if that's the case.

The rumor tis true. They've replaced the globe scene for now with extra fireworks. The lack of the globe shortens the show by about 3 minutes. The globe is to come back, however, in "three to four weeks" with all brand spankin' new LED lights, all sparkly and purty (readying itself for your December trip).

Because this is the moment...my final test...destiny beckons, I'll never reckon second bestttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!! NoJekyllandHyde.

This is so positively random and almost creepy that it is awarded Weird Thing In Common #2.

BF and I LOVE Jekyll and Hyde!! We actually saw it on Broadway when Sebastian Bach was playing the lead role. I got BF the soundtrack one Christmas and he actually wore it out!!!

I'm all misty eyed. I thank the Powers That Be (NOBuffy) all the time for having "found" you. And all the other great friends I've made here on the DIS. I'm a big believer in "Everything happens for a reason" and you're a great thing to happen for any reason!!!

Okay, first of all, wow.

Second of all, let's not even go into my artistic theory, mission statement, how all my paintings are based on the duality of mankind and the inherent possibility for good and evil that exists within us all.

I STILL have not seen this movie. But I reaaaallly want to try to fit it in before the trip because I have a feeling I'm gonna fall in love with it. Maybe I'll rent it from Blockbuster and try to watch it on my laptop on a couple of the trips to/from work.
