Will my hip beep?

This is my first time flying after my total hip replacement. My surgeon used a prosthetic with titanium. Has anyone had experience with this and security? I am obtaining a note from him - will this be sufficient or will I need to model my 12" scar ?

If it should beep and you have a dr.'s note, you will not have to model your scar.

I have 2 knee replacements, and I beep every time. I just tell them, show them my card, and get wanded. Doesn't take long!!!
