I have always wanted to see what it looks like inside the castle. Not necessarily eat there -- but do they let you check it out without an ADR?
And would my 17yo DD enjoy having lunch there or will we both feel awkward?

Thanks for your advice.

I don't think they let you stroll on in. I think you have to eat there. Personally I loved going there myself- the whole castle thing. I did have my kids with me but there were several "adult" only tables at breakfast. Go and have fun!You are never too old for anything at disney imho.

I didn't think girls ever grew out of their "princess" phase. :goodvibes

And even DS, when he was a young teen, once commented - "Ariel is kinda hot, y'know?" I don't know how he felt about Cindy.

You will not feel awkward!!! I LOVE eating at the castle and I am 37 years old!!!!!!

we went last May for dinner in the castle - DH & I, both 52 and DD who was 19 and her BFF, who is a guy, same age.

We all loved it - great ambiance, great service, good food. Great picture with Cindy downstairs - and she was funny talking to DD & BFF - she stayed completely in character but managed to have a real chat with them all the same (she looked to be about the same age as DD - college kids)

You will love it and so will your DD. We took my son and new Daughter in law last year and her one request was to eat in the Castle. We did the dinner as she only wanted to see Cinderella. The dinner offer a song skit with Fairy Godmother and the Mice Suzy and Perla. Cinderella is downstairs as you come in and your picture is made with her.

Now with that said, my husnad and I have been to the castle by ourselves and loved it. I have been to Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breastfast and lunch have the Princesses and it is wonderful. I am 52 and love to go there, as the PP said, what girl outgrows their princess fantasy?

I have taken all ages to the Castle age 3 to 75. They all love it. I always have a tiarra for my granddaughters or daughters to wear when they go.

So go and have a great time.

She will love it!

We had breakfast at CRT - with my 10 yr old niece, my 17 yr old niece, and a 20 yr old friend. Everyone loved it! (The older ones didn't care for getting up so early for the ADR, though).

my 17 year old dd was as excited as my 6 years old dd if not even
more:rotfl: tiara an all
