Just wondering what the affect will be with after magical express takes off, on the daily bus service, etc... . ? :confused3 I know, we have always rented a car, and used "our" car to go to: ak, mgm, & epcot. Not to mention visiting other resorts, water parks, DTD, PL, Mini golfing, etc.. . Usually everywhere EXCEPT MK. Just prefer too. And have noticed while in the "parking" lot Lots of cars with resort id's, and lots of car's showing resort id's to get the free parking. SO? Will there be a noticable difference in bus service? waits? Is disney planning for this? Just wondering.

If you are talking about the bus transportation within WDW, there should be no difference.

The busses used for ME are totally different. And Mears is contracted to drive the ME busses.

The Magical Express is solely dedicated to Airport to Resort, Resort to Airport and will be operated by Mears. It is not related in any way to the on property Disney Transport operated by Disney..I'm sure they will add addtional transports to meet demand as needed.

I am wondering if the OP is talking about the waits for buses on property. Since more people will NOT be renting cars, ect, will it affect the resort buses- longer lines since more people will need that transportation.

I am asking ::MickeyMo Do you think that the regular bus transportation will be more crowded, now that many people who usually rented cars, or perphaps had there own car (now flying?), and drove to the individual parks (cause we saw many, and we did it, opting NOT to take wdw buses etc...) would increase the capacity of the buses, monorails, or boats?

IE: Park transportation

HA!

LOL, just kidding. Rumor has it that 25 more Gilligs have been ordered.

I think less people will be renting cars. I have a car for May 7 to 13 with National, full size for $100.41 total! So the busses will probably be more crowded.

Which means more room for cars on the roads, at entrance plazas & parking lots! ;)

I'm hoping it will be easier to find a parking place in the BW lots! :teeth:

Best wishes -
