Will I have to shave my legs?

I've gone way more than 8 days without shaving my legs. In fact, right now I'm on a streak of not having shaved my legs for 15,112 days.

Depends on you and your legs. I have really fine blond hair on my legs. (Which is odd because the hair on my head is very dark, very curly and very full.) Anyway, I often go 2 weeks without shaving and unless you got up close and personal you'd never know. My husband doesn't even notice when I've shaven my legs. I always have to point it out to him. haha

I had no idea there would be so many women who don't shave their legs. To each his own, but personally for me, I couldn't go that long. In the winter time maybe, but not when I have to wear shorts all day.

And this is a hairy story that happened this morning at the breakfast table while teaching my kindergartener. I had the littlest guy on my lap and I said "you're back is hairy" to the little guy and we all laughed. My 5 yr old said why is his back hairy and I said "he gets it from Daddy". He said "he rolls on Daddy's back" LOL! We all started laughing and I said "no, he gets it from Daddy's genes". Then I can see the gears grinding in his head again and waited for him to ask me how he got hairy from Daddy's JEANS but he didn't, we just laughed

My wife will always think that if she has one hair she missed, every person we encounter during the day will be staring at it. We arrive in 34 days and I KNOW before she puts her shorts on each day she will badger me about hair on her legs. Drives me nuts!

I don't like hairy legs as much as the next guy, but unless you are trying to hit on some guys in town, or a bird makes a nest in your leg, don't sweat it.

Now if you were coming this week, I'd say shave as the lovebugs will get caught in that forest of yours.

Shave or don't shave, I don't judge people by their body hair or lack there of. BUT, while the PP meant this in jest, PLEASE don't do this. I was at The Plaza in May and next to my table sat a lady with an electric razor and tweezers grooming her legs

Even the server told us that while she thought she had seen everything that this was a new one. It was one of the worst examples of guest behavior I have ever seen. I used to think, when people make a joke surely no one will actually do that, now I am not so sure anymore.

In my book, I think she just beat out the corn people. Razor trumps corn

OP, too bad it was a joke! Remember, there are plenty of places in the world where shaving is just not done like Americans do it. Hubby absolutely LOVED being in Australia and noticing all the women (young and I assume attractive) who didn't shave legs and armpits. Hubby has always encouraged me to do whatever I want to do in terms of shaving, and couldn't wait to tell me about the women he'd seen there (and he was there in the summer so he saw lots of shorts and tanktops and the furry legs etc that go along with those clothes).

Man, from the sounds of it some of y'all would die at my shaving habits. I hate shaving my legs and only do it when I absolutely have to. But I also pretty much only wear pants and ankle length skirts. The one pair of shorts I own are just for exercising. At home. Inside.

We don't in my house too! For me it was much more of a political thing when I was younger but now I really just do not care. Most people do not even notice. Don't care if it is a joke or not, I just think shaving is the ridiculous part!

Yay for both of you! I went quite a while until the recent May when I shaved b/c I was visiting my brother, and his wife REFUSES to believe that my husband doesn't mind one way or the other. Insists that he's lying. It's just not worth the conversation, so I tortured myself by waxing leg fur that really was waaaaaay too long to be waxing (but then didn't start growing leg hair again for over a month). Knew we'd be visiting them again in a few months so have just continued shaving ugh.

SO unattractive, plus you are more likey to have BO with hairy armpits. Just the hygiene tip of the day

FWIW, it's the exact opposite for me.
