Will I have to shave my legs?

I think it's funny that people are still giving me sincere advice LOL! Thanks for clearing that up Larry :)

I just want you to know I just shaved my legs out of paranoia lol.

Honestly I don't shave my legs but once every few weeks, but I have very fine hair so no one notices. Not even my hubby! Though he doesn't really care if I shave or not, I'm the one that actually cares lol!

That's so funny, I just shaved mine too! I hardly ever bother as I hardly have any and what does grow is thin and light. I honestly couldn't even tell you the last time I shaved it was that long ago!

I shave my legs daily. Kind of related to your mom telling you to wear clean underwear in case you end up in an accident or needing surgery. I work in the OR and you would not believe the nasty hygiene some people have. These are not always indigent or elderly people either. Most people neglect to clean their bellybuttons- you should see what comes out of there(as part of an abdominal skin prep,we have to clean inside it). And yes, we do notice.

I would love to have my legs waxed but I'm not sure I could take the pain. Those depilatory creams irritate me, so shaving it is.

Op, I thought the idea behind the post was funny. Some people are very uptight about anything to do with the body. I am not. It takes a lot to offend or shock me, probably because of my job. Oh the stories I could tell..;)

Now we're talking. New thread, "what's stored in your belly button"! I'll bet some would really find that pathetic. I agree with you, it takes a lot to offend me too.

Dude, I could not go that long without shaving my legs. I've only done that a few times in my life (mostly during the no water/electricity for weeks after Hurricane Katrina). It drives me crazy to not shave after a couple days, especially the under arms. But if you think you can make it 8 days without, more power to ya!

I hope you plan on showering... because .. we all know, that will cut into your "CHEF MICKEY" time.. but I mean.. whats a few more, like 7 minutes going to do.. just shave..lol .. esp. if you're going to be wearing shorts or going swimming.. and I definitely hope you shave your bikini line if your going swimming.. iiickkk! hahaha

If Chewbacca needs a break at Star Tours you could head over around day 6 0r 7 and give him a break! ;)

I just had my gall bladder removed three weeks ago and the first thing I thought when I read your post was "oh crap, did I clean my belly button that day?" Now I have extreme belly button paranoia. :upsidedow

Thanks for clearing that up -- that explains the $1,400 "Miscellaneous Hygiene" charge on my last bill for surgery...

I would shave the day before and once during your trip. At least.

But, I like my legs hairless!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks OP! I needed the laugh this afternoon.......I love the line about the budget and needing to "fit it in"....that 99 cents worth of trial size shaving cream and buck for a disposable razor can really cramp some mickey premium ice cream bar potential.......i think hairy legs are worth a mickey premium ;)

I love how people get so defensive and frustrated here....:rotfl:

Yeah, I think 8 days is a bit long.
Just a throwaway razer and a bar of soap is all you need.
I'd go nuts that long. I shave every morning in the shower, cheapo razor and soap - seriously, takes about geez, not even 20 seconds for me to do it daily.

You and me both - I can't stand not shaving. My husband has commented that he wonders how I don't cut myself I do it so fast. Years of practice I tell him.:)

LOVE it OP!!:lmao:

My 15 year old DD and 47 year old DSister recently had a contest to see who would go the longest before shaving!:happytv:
DD won! but thankfully football season started and she had to become prissy again!:rotfl2:

We've actually had to give a quick "bath" to some people because they had dirt caked in the nooks and crannies..then there was the obese patient who had a bit of sandwich stuck in the abdominal folds.

$1400 is a little pricey for a bath though, I agree.;)

Lord have mercy - how do you lose a sandwich!? :rotfl:
