Will AK hours be lengthened in the fall?

We have a Thanksgiving trip planned, and I am trying to get ready to make our ADRS. AK is listed at closing at 5pm every night of our trip. Will these hours be lengthened to accommodate the new evening offerings at AK, or are those just for the summer?

I'm thinking of dinner at Boma that night. If I make it early like 4:30 or 5pm, should we be back in time for the nighttime festivities?

I was wondering this too. Especially because they keep advertising it as a summer thing. But it wouldn't make sense for them to go through all the work to the safari and tree to only keep it going during summer.

We only have one solid AK day. I am going to go ahead and make a Boma ADR for that day, plus for our second DHS day (where we were going to do quick service only). That way I'll have a back up.

We are going in early Nov and I booked a 5:00 Boma with the hope of doing the same thing you are. Cross fingers they extend the hours!

I got sick of waiting for Disney to get off their butts and post the hours that should have been out a month ago. I took a wild guess that the Jungle Book/ROL first show would be around astronomical sunset, like Fantasmic is. Googled it for our dates, then made an ADR for 3 hours before. Now that that's done I'll switch it if and when they condescend to release the dining packages.

The latest newsletter had an entire article about the nightime extension. It was 3 pages long.

The questions are not if but;
1. When(newsletter says fall) so after September.
2 how long? (My guess is maybe 7pm.
3. I would also guess only certain days.
4. I would also say many rides will no operate. Current rumors suggest EE will not run.
5. All this may be dependent on the new nightime show fixing the problems they have.

I am watching, because since opening year I have always felt this park would be spectacular at night"...much like Adventureland is.....
