Wilderness Lodge Villas Room Request

We will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge Villas for the first time in a one Bedroom Villa. What rooms have the nicest view and what rooms should I stay away from??? My son and his girl (she has never been with us at Disney, so I want it to be special) are going to be with us and I want a room with a view of the Lake.

Most all the views are woods views. A few have a view of the pool and some even have a little view through the trees of the lake. Not many of those.

We had a 2br(3549) and could see a bit of the lake through the trees.

Requesting specific rooms is not productive and pretty much guarantees disappointment. Views at VWL are typically not great. You can see trees, a glimpse of Bay Lake, or maybe a view of the pool. If views are especially important, I'd recommend BWV, SSR, or OKW rather than VWL. I personally think that the other amenities at VWL more than make up for the lack of views though.

I request upper floor, near the elevator, with a view of the quiet pool. I've never been disappointed.

We requested high floor overlooking lake (same direction as quiet pool) and we received our request. It was really a great view. I don't think we requested much else, so maybe that helps. Good luck!
