Wilderness Lodge: Rm Request Advice Needed!

While on a wait list to add 2 nights to our OKW stay in November, I made a "back-up" ressie at the WL. While my DH is not thrilled at the thought of switching resorts after 2 days, I am secretly hoping the wait list does not come through because I have always wanted to stay at the Lodge!

I requested a courtyard view, but now I'm thinking that it may be a bit noisy during nap time if we are near the theme pool.

Any advice? I would like to indicate my preferences on our ressie. If I just say "Courtyard View-Quiet Room", will that be enough? Are the rooms on the higher floors quieter? Or should I switch from Courtyard view to Woods View?

Depends on how finicky you your young ones are for the noise level during their nap time.

I'm probably more sensitive to noise than others.

We found that with the patio door shut and the curtains closed that the noise level was acceptable for nap time.

You still will hear some of the pool noise though.

If your little ones are used to it being super quiet at nap time I would suggest booking the woods view.

Are you waitlisted for the WL or the VWL?

Oops reread your post. I get it now. You're booked at the WL for back up ressie while you wait list for OKW.

Warning if you stay at WL, there may be an add in your future at VWL (assuming you are DVC owners at OKW).

WL is great and I'm sure you're gonna love it. We ahve been twice and both times we have found WL quiet. Very little noise from neighboring rooms or hallways. I'm really sensitive to noises when I try to sleep and have never had any problem sleeping.
