Wilderness Lodge Photo Thread- Please feed my addiction!!

We only visited the Lodge for a little bit when we went in November so I don't have many photos but we are staying there for the first time in September and I hope to have lots of pictures to share with everyone when we get back

To say AWESOME Great photos. How was your stay? As great as your photos I hope. Were you in the VWL? That one photo is what DW and I call the endless mile. (the long hallway) Been there done that!

Oh thanks. Great stay-upper 70's and sun all week. Yes VWL 3 nights, then BCV 4 nights. We call it "redrum".

This is exactly what I am going through right now. And I thought it was only me.
I do this every year. I have been counting every minute until this weekend. Then I suddenly panic that it will be over before we know it.
We are going to be at WL for the first time in 8 days.

I always love your pictures DizneyNutz, especially the little details. You really get to see the animals carved into the wood. You're giving me some great ideas for my next trip to the WL. It won't be for 2 years though!

HAHA I think that is my dad in the very bottom right of this pic...he is wearing blue and is partially blocked by the lamp. Too funny! He and my husband sat in those chairs every morning drinking their coffee!

That's so funny! I was also one of those early risers. He probably saw me wondering who that crazy lady was taking pictures in the lobby every morning!

these pics are great. I'm wondering if anyone has photos of the concierge deluxe rooms. Thinking of staying there with family in april but i would like to know more about the rooms. There are 3 adult and a teenager(adults are all siblings makes room selection difficult. My sister and neice will share a bed but I dont want to sleep in same bed as my bro so we need the extra bed. Thanks

Sure thing, it really has taken off with the help of my fellow Dis Buddies !! It made the anticipation of my December 2008 trip so much more FUN & I learned a ton from this thread !! I have already booked my Dec 10-18 2009 trip for my return visit to this beautiful hotel !!
