Wilderness Lodge Photo Thread- Please feed my addiction!!

Thanks so much to all of you who post on this thread!!! We have 77 days before we arrive at the VWL with our friends who have never been to WDW. They don't have internet, so occasionally I print some of your photos and mail them to them to keep up the excitement! We can't wait to share our favorite place with them! Thank you for helping us do that!

Nope! On the side of the building that we were on, which I believe was the south wing, there is only 6 floors. We were room 6157. Concierges is the 7th floor.

I'm very unsure of how the layout of the building works and how some areas have 6 floors and others 7. DH tired to explain it but he just confused me more I guess it's the natural blonde in me!

It was crazy!! I got out of bed and went to peak out the curtains and saw it! I said out loud "Holy cow!" That was the day we went to AK. When DH got up I told him we may need to re-think our plan for the day. But by the time we got the kids ready, had breakfast at WCC and got to the buses it was pretty much gone!

I love, love, love early morning at WL!! I took that shot waiting for the boat to take DD to morning EMH at MK! I loved the foggy mist rising off the lake!!

That fog was crazy. I agree that being at the WL late night or early morning is especially special.

Wow, have only touched the surface with this thread but all the photo's are fantastic ! was after a bit of advice WL rooms. We have never been to WDW before & are going in Dec for our honeymoon. We have been looking at a standard room on the Club Level vs 1 Bedroom Suite.
For our stay it's about $2600 more of the suite and I was just wondering what the differences are & if anyone has booked both which was better?

mickeysmyboy...WOW-what a picture! Gorgeous! I think some people have an amazing talent on these boards for taking pics-accident or not. Personally-I think that some of them should be sent to WDW & made into postcards-especialy the ones from resorts. Or even just for advertising the resorts. Great job people-I wish I could capture shots that good!!

The pictures on page 64 of this thread are from a one bedroom in the villas. I am sure they one bedroom in the Lodge would be about the same layout. A lot more room a washer and dryer, full kitchen, jacuzzi type bath tub, plus seperate shower, etc. If you would not be using most of the amenities, then it would be a waste of your money. They are nice though

Those upgrades are GREAT! We got one at the WL for a Courtyard overlooking the pool from the South wing on a trip we took before buying our DVC membership.

To say AWESOME Great photos. How was your stay? As great as your photos I hope. Were you in the VWL? That one photo is what DW and I call the endless mile. (the long hallway) Been there done that!
