Wilderness Lodge Photo Thread- Please feed my addiction!!

hello all, I was wondering about club lvl and the food. What is offered? I saw some pics on the above link fur allears. Very great site, love that place! But Im just wondering what it provides to decided accordingly for food.

I never in my life thought we would ever stay at WL. We came back from ASmo last month and now we are planning a vacation for next Nov/Dec with my folks. So the Jr Suite at Club Level would be awesome! (plus cost is divided in half!! :) )

But I really need to know about the club level services and the food offered. I also read that full acess to beer is available. Is this true? ANd can you bring one back to the room?

Thanks!!

Ok, so apparently we are one too many people for the Jr Suite. ACK! Even though we have 2 toddlers. Anybody suggest a way around this? I was really looking forward to this... :(:(:( We have 4 adult and a 14 yr old and a 3 and 4 yr old. I know we could all fit easily, but max people is 6 not 7 no matter their size. Is there anyway we can just pay a little extra?

look into a 2 bedroom villa. You would have to look into renting points from a DVC owner or Disney may have some open for reservations. The 2 bedrooms sleep 8 people. There's a king in one room and either 2 queens or 1 queen/ 1 double sleeper sofa in the other bedroom plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer, too! The only bad part is not having that awesome view of the courtyard area right from your room. ;)

The 2 bedroom units are wonderful. For a few less "points" and if the kitchen and laundry aren't important, two studios would give you double the bathrooms, which it sounds to me like you'll need. A studio has a Queen bed and a pull out double bed/couch as well as a kitchenette (small fridge, microwave, toaster & coffeemaker). The problem with this plan is you can request, and they will try to accommodate, but they cannot guarantee the studios will be near each other.

Personally, the view isn't that important to me at WL (unless it's that dreaded rooftop view I had one year LOL) I love the peace and quiet of the resort as well as the boats & easy access to MK / Ft W and the Contemporary.

Hope this works! Are these images too large? I have not posted photos previously...these are from our recent trip.

The walkway from the boat launch--stunning! Loved this walkway...

The Yellowstone Suite is at the very top of this section of the lodge in the corner that juts out--the three peaked sections with balconies are part of the suite.

Great view from one of the balconies.

Joie29-What a fantastic picture of the pool area. We go in August and this picture makes me want to be there right now. Thanks for posting.

I really like the one of the pool. I finally see how it is all set up. How patient did you have to be to get the geyser erupting at that moment? Very cool.:cool1:

Thanks,

Yes this is strange. I don't know why it would resize the photos that you were able to post on the other link. We have never experienced this.:confused3 It may have something to do with how they were inserted on the post seeing that they are side by side instead of one over the other.

WOW How did I miss this thread
Oh My Gosh a Big Thank You to all of you very talented shutter bugs :thumbsup2
I know where I'll be hanging out for a VWL fix

There are a LOT of pictures that have been removed since the thread started, but there are still plenty for everyone to enjoy.:cool1: We are constantly encouraging anyone to post their pictures they have of the WL to keep this thread alive and let us all live vicariously through each others trips.:thumbsup2

I have no photography skills and just a little easy share point & shoot but I will try to get something worthy to post in March. I love this thread and seeing everyone's pictures of the lodge.

Thanks for keeping it going DizneyNutz! :goodvibes

All of your photos will be worthy to post.:thumbsup2 We'll be waiting in anticipation.:cool1: I keep trying to watch the WL thread on the resorts board (as are you:thumbsup2 ) and asking them to share photos here, just in case they aren't aware of this thread. We need to keep this great thread going! :cool1: We all live vicariously through the photos of each other until our own next trip rolls around.pixiedust:
