Wilderness Lodge Photo Thread- Please feed my addiction!!

I know exactly what you mean and it has become part of our Christmas Holiday as well. My first visit to Disney was in early December 1997 for a business trip and we have gone every year around that time ever since (late Nov, early Dec). And ever since the VWL opened, we've been staying there for our Christmas Holiday trip. Now when I go back to VWL in March or May, it seems like something is missing.

EXACTLY! We do NOT go at Dec. 24 or 25, but early Dec. late Nov. When everything is decorated. We LOVE it at that time of the year.: But it doesn't look the same to us at other times of the year now to see it when it is not decorated.

I would love to go and see all the christmassy goodies! Probably at the very start of december before it gets too busy maybe? I've just been looking at availability of the villas and am not having much luck though My husband and I have been discussing whether we can afford a trip this year and we're not too sure but if we did manage to get something together it would either be a little trip for our anniversary in september or december time as either of those trips would be very special for us

Glad you had a wonderful stay. I know what you mean about just getting back and seeing it on the Disboards knowing you just left there. Looking forward to some new pictures. Thanks in advance

Lottery numbers The last winning ticket was sold in my neighboring state of South Carolina. It was only worth 260 million though. Anyway have a great time planning.

260 million!!! Wowsers!!! I can't wait to start planning, my mind definately isnt going to be on work today Luckily i'm off on monday so I can have a long weekend full of planning

Wow! DisneyNutz, you must be really crank up the exposure adjustment on that RAW file. I don't think I have ever seen the WL lobby that bright. Maybe the Christmas tree light really puts out a lot of candlelight power.

No you are EXACTLY right Topdog!: I do lighten up the the photo so everyone can see what is in the WL lobby, versus someone taking a dark photo where you can't see any details only the ambiance. I prefer to show everyone what is to be experienced at the WL. That is an actual picture of the lobby with lighting added so everyone can see the nooks and crannies.
