Wild By Design-Worth It?

Hi!

DH loves AK. We walk around this amazing park just looking at all the architecture.

I thought it would be really cool to surprise him and book us for the Wild by Design Tour.

Has anyone done this tour and is it good?

Yes we did it last year when it first opened. It was wonderful, great, fantistic. As you can see we loved it. It is worth every dollar of the tour. It showed us so many details that we would have never seen before. Like the soda bottles on the electric poles, etc. The best part in our opinion was we got to wear headsets. the tour leader has a mic and you can hear everything he has to say, whether or not you a rigyt beside him. I really think all of the tours should have them. Definitly take this tour, we are actually taking the other tour at the AK for the second time and are planning on taking this again in the spring when we come back.

I completely agree with Webmomom. If you appreciate all of the little details in AK, you will LOVE this tour. All those great little touches have stories behind them, and this tour is probably the only way you'll ever hear them. The Maharajah Jungle Trail, especially, has a backstory that runs through the whole thing, about the different Maharajahs who built each part of the ruined complex.

It was so good, I'm thinking about doing it again.

A great tour. Do it. I have taken 8 different tours at WDW and will do 9th in Dec, ALL have been well worth the money and time. Very enjoyable and informative. Enjoy.
