I did it the first day they offered it- excellent tour for the introductory price of $129. If the rumor is true that your price (in Oct) will be $249 it's way overpriced in my opinion.
There are 12 guests per tour plus 2 guides. On my tour there were 3 couples and the other six were solo (left spouse at home or at the resort). I went solo - left fiance at the resort. It's a 3 hour tour and the highlights are up-close viewing of hippos & crocodiles, 2 fun rope bridges and a safari truck where you got to stop for photos. The food/snack was sort of weird stuff - I didn't like most of it & most people just picked at it. It was presented very well, and the trek was alot of fun. I know I wouldn't do it for $249 and I'd have to really think about it at the $189 price it's going to in late Feb....that's starting to get into the "crazy" price range for this tour.
