Recently read that all the parks and hotels (value, etc) on property have free wifi. Did I read this correctly.

Yes, all hotels had wifi when we were there in early September and at the time MK and Epcot already had wifi. The other parks were subsequently added to the list

That's good to hear means I can just take the iPad instead of the laptop as well.

Yes it was great to be able to go online while in the park esp while waiting in line lol.
