Wireless Internet Access


Does the airport have wireless internet access?

Currently there are several kiosks which offer users LAN connections, in addition to the standard dial service offered by the phone company via the LAN jacks in the pay phones. A wireless LAN project (Wi-Fi) which will permit users to access the internet though out the airport is currently being implemented. The area in front of the HYATT hotel (East Hall) is currently active, and the remainder of the airport is due to follow.

I had my laptop with me last month. I tried it at the airport at an Air Tran gate, it said it was picking up a signal but it would not work. I don't know if my laptop was blocking it (I have Norton on it).

I am flying USAirways on Wednesday. I will have to try it out.
