WiFi at DVC Resorts

Is WiFi still complimentary for DVC Members? I know it was in 2008 at AKL when we stayed there. My brother-in-law is staying at BLT and was wondering.

There is no in-room wifi at any WDW resort. In-room wired internet is free for members using their membership.

take a router from home to plug into the wired internet and woolah you have wifi

VB and HHI have wifi. WDW does not. But wired internet is free to members staying at DVC resorts on a DVC reservation.

They have internet, it's just not very good!

If your BIL is a DVC member he will get the free wired internet- that is one of the perks that doesn't necessarily extend to those using our points. Many times they will charge you for it and you have to use a member card to remove it at the front desk.

VGC has wi-fi also, free for everyone. But when I was there last month, the wireless signal was weak. Luckily they also had wired.

Wow. Why would they do this if you are a member staying on your own points doesn't the resort billing system know that?

No, if it shows up on your bill, you have to go to the front desk and get it removed by showing your member card.
