When you buy your DVD's, do you prefer wide screen or full screen view? My eyes can't tell the difference.:o

Wide. I'm paying for the whole movie, not a chop job.

I've been buying widescreen versions of movies since they started putting them out on VHS.

I don't even notice the little black bars at the top and bottom of the screen anymore - :hyper:

If you have a wide-screen TV, you should definitely get wide screen.

Go buy a widescreen TV, no more black bars.

I never used to care, then I married DH.

He's a movie geek - man drives me nuts!! If it's not wide screen he'll throw a fit!

All we have is wide screen now, he just got a new TV that has some special wide screen thingy (I so don't understand it all!)

I went with full screen. I dunno............the boys prob would have gone with wide tho:confused:

I just like my tv screen to have a picture in the entire screen rather than a stip across the middle

Only way I would buy a wide screen DVD is if I had a wide screen tv....thats what they are for after all! I cant stand seeing a squished down picture with black bars on the top and bottom for the whole movie!

Wide screen all the way - the best way to see the movie as it was shot!

Wide, definitely!!

When seeing a movie frame in both, wide screen and full screen side-by-side and can see the definite difference, I much prefer wide. I don't even notice the black bars at the top and bottom any more.

Full screen. I hate the black bars. But my stepdad only buys the wide screen, so we only get full screen if I buy it myself. I can see getting wide screen with a wide screen tv, but we have normal sized tvs in our house, not big or wide, so it really reduces the size of what you see, and I don't like that.

We but wide in hopes of having a widewscreen tv one day ::yes:: and our dvd player has a button to push to show the picture in the full screen frame if you want to.

Full.
I can't stand the black bars either.
And for some reason our TV shows the picture slightly crooked with a wide screen ???? Drives me nuts!!

Chris

I prefer widescreen no matter what tvyou watch it on I like to see the entire shot not the cropped version.
