Why are Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon closed so much during the month of May????? I will be in WDW May 17-23. BB is closed the 17th & the 23rd. And TL is closed the 18th, 19th & 20th!!! That really screws up my plans!

I'm bummed too, Jenn. We'd planned on going to BB on our first day (5/17). It's gotten to be a tradition with us. TL is just not the same - at least not for slides. We may try one of the off-site parks like Wet 'n Wild instead.
