I don't think there are busses to the resorts from TTC, maybe I'm wrong though

There are no busses to the resorts from the TTC. There was a Wilderness Lodge bus for a while, and there still may be, but I do know they were trying a direct bus from MK.

THe only busses at TTC are to MGM and AK.

If you don't want to wait at the MK, you could walk over to the Contemporary and take a taxi back to ASM from there. Of course you could also take a bus from the CR to DD and then transfer to the ASM bus, but I'm quite sure if you did that you'd end up wishing you'd just waited for the ASM bus at the MK.
