Why no BB EMH until later in May?

I was disappointed to see this! We're not going again until 2009, but I've been doing some planning/research, etc. based on 2008 park hours, etc. We were there April 28-May 4,2007 and went to BB I believe on May 1. Did AM EMH at 9 AM and it was GREAT!! Walked on all the slides until about 10:30, so perfect. We then hit the kiddie areas as the park filled. We're going again May 1-8, 2009.

Any idea why these aren't starting till later in May? Disney just thinks there's no need?

The discussion here has been that last year's were poorly-attended (as you pointed out in your post.)

We're disappointed too. We went in April 2006 and had the same type of experience - kept walking onto all of the slides and were ready to leave at noon when it was really crowded.

thanks! Makes sense, I guess, but it sure was a great perk, b/c the park definitely did get crowded later!
