Why is July more than August?

We are currently booked 8/9-8/16 and we have to change to 7/26-8/2, but the rates are much higher, what gives? It's the same summer discount offer, I have even checked fl resident and passholder rates.....

Disney resort prices vary by season.

For example, at POP:

Summer Season May 30 - Aug 2 Standard View $160 weekday $189 weekend

Value Season Aug 3 - Sept 12 Standard View $112 weekday $135 weekend

July is the one month when every school system in the country is on brea

July is the go to month for my extended family to do big trips because it's the only time none of us have to deal with pulling our kids out of school. s

You may try a higher level resort....deluxe tends to have the highest discounts in July.
We have done well end of July because of it.

Compare and you may get more resort for the same money which may make you feel better.
