Why is it??????

that everytime I post, my post is italicized? Am I doing something wrong when I type? I am not pressing anything on my keyboard.

Hi there, Spidey. I've noticed that too. I think it's a new feature. Every thread I read is now italicized.

I've noticed that the post becomes italicized AFTER I've read it. The ones I don't read are not italicized on my coomputer.

That's how I see things as well.

Me too..... but I find if I tilt my head to the right, all is well in the world.

I think this feature might be to replace the black dot you used to see when you had posted to a thread. Now when you click on a thread the title shows up in italics. I can't say much for the new design but I do like this little feature.

The Black dot, which wont return since it causes majore server power, let you know when you REPLIED to a thread.... the italics let you know when you READ the thread....

For me, before the italics, a thread would change color if I had read it... so the italics arent giving me new info, just changing the way I see read threads.

I hate the "Black Dot" caused so many problems...... I loved the DOT. I have a tendancy NOT to remember the names of the threads I post to.

This is what I do. When I first log on to the boards, I open User CP (Button at the top of any page). If there are any new posts on any of the threads you have posted on, they will show up in your User CP, along with any other threads you may have subscribed to. After I check out the threads I've already posted to, then I go to the other forums I frequent.

All this being said, I still miss the black dot

Figment, I'll have to try that! I will sometimes search with my user name to get the same results, but your way seems easier.
