Why I'm Scared of an Obama Presidency

Sorry, but I have no clue what you're trying to say. I've seen some posters flat out say that anyone who says they have issues with Obama, that the bottom line really comes down to that they are a racist. So are you implying that conservatives aren't smart enough to separate the two??

1-I wasn't "trying" to say anything,
2-I heard you the first time!
3-Only the dumb ones.:thumbsup2

I think the Bush-bashing started only after the Clinton-bashing started and not because people are trying to defend Obama. It was the Canusa Family's Clinton-bashing post that started that off.

And, in step with your post, Swedish Meatball, why does EVERY Obama thread get pulled back to a Clinton bashfest?

You need to go back and read the thread. Canusa post is #17

However posts 3 makes a negative remark in reference to but not naming Pres Bush
posts 7 mentions Pres Bush negatively
posts 9 attacks president Bush

So which started first? Last time I looked, 3,7 and 9 all come before 17.
To turn your question around on you, Why does every political thread have to turn into a Bush bashing thread?

The absolute LAST thing this country needs is a socialist in the White House, the govt spending in this country needs to be brought under control or the future is bleak. Its time that people in this country are expected to be held responsible for their actions!

I'm scared of people who are scared of Obama but allowed an incompetent moron run our country for from 2000 to 2008....:surfweb:

There is nothing to fear but fear itself.

yep 50% of the population must be morons give me a break

The absolute LAST thing this country needs is a socialist in the White House, the govt spending in this country needs to be brought under control or the future is bleak. Its time that people in this country are expected to be held responsible for their actions!

What amazes me is that the same people who complain about the $$ spent on the war/military etc (insert anything typically supported by a republican and not supported by a dem) want to elect a president whose policies would increase taxes and gov spending.

The LAST thing this country needs is more of the same. Let's hold the Republican party responsible for their actions and elect someone who did NOT support the military action in Iraq. The spending on that action certainly needs to be brought under control. Our future IS bleak right now thanks to George/Karl/Dick and their cronies. McCain has promised more of the same because he wanted to be POTUS so badly. Elect Barack Obama.

My College Student is convinced he is the Anti-Christ and that we need to be very, very careful.

I am concerned that he is a Godless man.

I also agree with his lack of experience and reputable references.

OP - I try to educate myself as much as possible in regards to any candidate. Thanks for the additional information.

You haven't educated yourself enough then.

:confused3

No, see I'm not concerned he's the anti-christ. And I don't think he's Godless.

Because he's not.
Anyone know if he's joined any church since he left where he was for years? I haven't heard anything about his church membership since. Haven't found anything by using google either.
