Why I don't want to stay in a Value Resort!!!

I can't believe I just wasted 30 minutes of my life reading this post!!

Quite honestly ... It's just what you're in the mood for, and what is in your wallet!

I personally fall into the category that goes .. me, WDW and sleeping in a cardboard box = happiness!

Life is too short ... don't sweat the small stuff!

For me, the appeal of the theming is one the most important factors and the Values just dont appeal to me ... so I will not choose to stay there. For that matter, there are also a couple of deluxes that dont appeal to me either and I wont stay there either

I love this post, I am glad you shared your story. This is a great example of why someone may prefer one resort over another and it has nothing to do with being snobby or cheap for that matter.
Thanks! I just think we can't apply blanket generalizations to why people do what they do. Mind you, I'm not complaining about staying at the GF. It's a terrific resort, but I don't want to be branded a "snob" because my needs and choices are not the same as someone else's.

Very well said, and I agree with you on both counts.

Not my choice, but we are staying at the All-Star Music this Sunday night. But it is one night to sleep only and we got a great rate; we aren't doing Disney this trip (it's a business trip for my husband as we cross the State of Florida). But I gave in because of the great rate and I get a little Disney fix because I get to go to Downtown Disney. And I agree on the deluxes as well--there are four that hold absolutely no appeal to me with the theme and I would not choose to stay there.
