Why haven't June hours been updated?

They were updated for Animal Kingdom.

I'm guessing the MK hours not being adjusted are due to Disney analyzing the popularity/profitability of the paid "night time magic" thing, but I could be wrong.

They seem to be waiting longer and longer to update hours. I think they just updated May last Friday. So it could be about 2 or more weeks before they do June's if they go by that same formula.

Tell me about it. If MK is going to be shut at 10pm every night unless you've paid $150pp for "after hours" access I'll be so disappointed.

The only rational explanation for them not updating June hours is because Disney hates me.

with recent staff cuttings and reduced operations and capacities within the parks for cost savings, I am also guessing they are waiting closer to dates to gage crowd levels based on ticket and resort payments before extending hours which adds costs

Disney is cutting back operating hours for Q2 (April-June) at both WDW and Disneyland due to the cost overruns in Shanghai. There was an article floating around here about it a few weeks ago.

That may be true but May hours were extended to 11pm or 12am most, if not all, nights. I would expect at least the same for June.

I'm hoping for the park to be open until 2 am at least once each week with the other 6 nights scheduled for DAH.

I hope so. We're going to Disneyland in June and the 9 pm & 11 pm closing times for those two parks are lousy.
