Why hasn't anyone rec'd my postcards?

I filled out and mailed postcards on 12/12. I used first class stamps, not postcards stamps. They were the Disney ones USPS came out with in the Summer. I also mailed out a birthday card on 12/13 and a bunch of disposable cameras and film to Snapfish.
Today is 12/21. No one has rec'd any of my postcards. Snapfish didn't receive my films or disp. cameras yet. The birthday card I mailed hasn't arrived, either, and her birthday was on Dec 20th.
Is the mail delayed when you mail things out from WDW? Just wondering.

Hi,
Did you send it from a resort or a theme park?

It seems that mail sent from Theme Parks goes that day and arrives quickly but mail sent from the Resorts are only picked up every week or so and takes longer to be received.

This is just my thoughts from past experience, I really don't know what the schedule is on the pick up...except on the boxes at the theme parks it does say that CM's pick it up daily and bring it to the post office.

Wow! I didn't know that. All the film and cameras were mailed from POFQ. Most of the post cards were mailed from POFQ, too, except about 7 were mailed in DTD. The birthday card was mailed from MK. It never occured to me to check when mail goes out from the resorts. I just assumed mail was picked up and delivered every day. Now I wish I would have mailed my stuff from MK and brought the film home with me instead. Thanks for letting me know!!

Like I said, this is my opinion...I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time!)

But I sent postcards during my last trip from MK and they were received before I even got home, and one I sent to the UK arrived really quickly as well.

On the flip side on other trips where I have put them into the mailboxes at the resorts they arrived after I got home!
