Why don't we make this trip report about 2012 & 2013.

I think I am supposed to make ADRs for December today but I have nothing planned I will have to talk to G tonight about it and get it squared away tomorrow.

Yesterday was Cs recital and she did beautifully but I took no pictures LOL. Not like I have a shortage of dance pictures anywhere.

Today G took Miss C to the movies to see Brave.

Oh and I finally ordered pirate fabric for Js outfit. I am also going to attempt my first Grace dress it will be Belle inspired but no applique since that is what C chose.

I am working on a big give which is super late I am 80 percent done though and I am finally feeling about 95% I think the meds are what is making me not feel 100%.

Thanks for all the well wishes I can honestly say I have never felt this bad before LOL.

So it has been a rough week in my life, I have been horribly ill with a Kidney infection but am finally feeling like myself.

Today we turned on our central air and it was leaking all over and not working and we had to get a repairman out here today. Thank goodness for my dad because he took care of it for me. I think I scared him with how sick I was. I went to his house with the kids for Fathers day and slept for 3 hours while the kids played. I went to the doctor on Monday I had a dangerously high fever and I was given antibiotics and I have to stay on that at tylenol for 10 days since my WBC is still a bit high but over 50% lower from Monday.

I worked hard to finish this Brave Set that was on my deadline for last week but it is done and on its way to its new home. I love how it came out.

I am so behind but am still not a 100% so I am going to start back up slowly with orders and projects tomorrow.

This outfit is incredible!

So sorry you have been so sick -- glad you are on the mend

okay no need to panic I have a few more days for ADRs LOL. So G and I worked them out.

I finished my final Brave set last night. I am glad to take a break on these.

Here is a picture it has 2 shirts

I also finished a big give that should of shipped last week but I will get that out via priority.

Today is the first day I woke up feeling 100% I am so so happy.

So a little school update on J. I received my letter from the department of education last week.

J is being placed in a new location, NYC is opening a whole boatload of new autism classrooms. There is nothing really for me to see to ensure it is a proper placement. I did see a classroom like the one J will go into in a different school. (not a huge help). The school J will be attending is about a 15 minute drive from my house and 25 minutes from my office, it isn't in the best neighborhood but the site looks clean if old. After much talk G and I decided to take a leap of faith and accept the placement. I have a feeling by the beginning of October the school will hate me.

I will say that everyone I have talked to associated with the school has been helpful and nice so that makes me feel more comfortable.

We have also decided to pay out of pocket to keep one session of Js sensory gym, he will be getting Speech and OT at school lets hope those therapists are helpful since that is more important to me than the school.

So we have a spot but I am not sure it will work but am praying it does.

Hope the new school will be wonderful for J ....and if they hate you, its for a good reason...you are wanting the best for your little man!

Glad that you are finally feeling 100%. HURRAY for more ADRs! The brave set looks very nice.

I am praying that you will be pleasantly surprised by how good this class will be for your son. And I highly doubt that the school will "hate you" for being an involved and caring parent.

I think think that being down in Disney at Christmastime would be simply magical. I know your family will enjoy it and I can't wait to see what outfits you have in mind for it.

I love going at Christmas this will be our 3rd year in a row there for Christmas. It is mostly an atmosphere trip but we love it.

So tusker house has been added to our meals for a late breakfast on our Beirgarten day.

I am off to mail an order this morning. I am washing some of the new fabric I have been accumulating including one of my launch outfit fabrics for the next Main Street Launch. I am still on the hunt for another fabric combo for my second launch set.

I am working on a tink set tonight and some appliques and Js pirate set.

On the other outfit it looks like you did the "felt thing." I missed how the applique is then attached to the skirt.

Cheryl on the felt. You can either straight stitch it on or zig zag. I prefer to straight stitch it.

I really like to use the felt on the appliques when I am putting them on really busy fabric.

Glad to hear the school situation is settled, for now at least. Chances are you just need to try it and see if it works. If your son gets an awesome teacher it will probably be wonderful. If the teachers aren't so hot then chances are you'll be moving him. There's no telling at this point.

I'm mild livid about my kids school. My ds's most excellent teacher quit and they hired a new teacher. All I found out is that she is last taught in the Bronx with bars on the windows and that she is NOT Montessori certified. She will likely be in heaven teaching here, but it will also likely be a stark contrast to what she is used to. I am pretty peeved that she is not Montessori certified -- that's what I pay good money for! And I went through last year with dd's teacher "working on her certification" and she was the least favorite teacher EVER that any of my kids had.

so I have been trying to catch up with some orders and I was able to finish 2 in the past week so I should be caught up by Friday I have 2 more outfit orders and then the rest are t-shirts

Here is a sisters set I did with Wendy and Rapunzel

and yesterday I finished a tink set. I actually love the greenish tank with the skirt, I was unsure of it but it has grown on me

Today I have a nerd set. an ariel set and a tink set on tap. Thankfully the nerd set is using felt so I can have Mickey going while working on some skirts

I also bought the purple felt I needed for one of my launch outfits.

I am so happy to be getting caught up.

The sisters sets are so cute. The Rapunzel skirt looks so little. I'm sure it will look sweet on the lucky little girl who gets to wear it. I love the Tink set and the tank color is perfect!

I'm glad to hear that J's school situation is figured out. One less thing for you to have to worry about. I hope it works out for him (and you).

Your ADRs for December sound yummy. Did you get to go to Tutto Italia on your last visit or was it still closed? I know you mentioned it on your TR but I forgot: are you staying at AKL for this trip?
