So, about once a week the DIS or my cookies screw up and loses track of th "new posts" in my subscriptions. This was YOUR week DM. :guilty:

But I'm all caught up again and waiting for more GG fun... popcorn::

What cute pictures from the Garden Grill. The kids all look thrilled. I especially loved when Brookie kissed Chip.

And for your information, I am from Ontario, I most certainly do not say "eh", that is a maritimes thing.:snooty:

Love the garden Grill pics, very cute! My DS3 loves Chip & Dale but once was enough for me at Garden Grill. Can't wait to hear if the food was any better. Maybe Ican book it for next year if it was good. The picture of Alec is hilarious :rotfl2: , he looks very PO'ed

HMMM, the recent reviews here are mking me think I want to try GC in August!

Great pics and videos!

Sorry about the poster:hug:

Thanks eh? :lmao:

We like the Experience of the GG but not the food so much. Plus, it's so darn pricey.

However, the character interaction is about the best you can get in WDW.

Did you sneak any of the meat out in your backpacks? This is a famous Mills trick. You can nibble on it later. Mmmm... meat.

I've always wondered if any children climbed the rails and fell down into the "Living with the Land" ride below...?

Brookie sure looks cute w/ chip.... that right there would have made the meal for me.... no matter what the food tasted like.... can't wait for the next update :)popcorn::

As we entered Future World I looked over at the Imagination pavilion and remembered the poster that I wanted to get of the kids.

What poster are you talking about DM? I must have missed something :confused3

And, because I have a bunch of pictures of this meal plus some short videos, I will have to break this update into 2 or 3 updates. But that’s typical of me anyway, eh? (I added the “eh” in there so the Canadian readers could understand a little bit better.)

Thanks :thumbsup2

Much clearer for me now ;)

Loved all your pics - you're children are adorable.

I'm going to save the video for next week when I get my high speed :dance3:

glad I changed my ressie to this it looks nice so far.

:thumbsup2

Still waiting for that picture ... :rolleyes1

Here you go

DM wasn't the poster some special one where you could have the kids superimposed flying on a carpet or something over the MK castle????

I think you are right Jo. I remember reading a very long time ago about how they were at the Imagination pavilion and saw a poster of kids flying above the castle and one of the kids looked just like Brookie. I think that is what DM is talking about, going back and having a poster made with the kids flying above the castle.

I'm sorry about your feet and the poster... :sad2:

Brooke is so cute with chip! What a charmer. ;)
Yup, bummed about the picture but I have some ideas on how to rectify that. And Brookie just loved the characters. No shyness whatsoever!!!

What a cute picture of the kids....

The tall one in the middle has your eyes :rotfl2:
You had me :lmao: again. I had to figure out which one you meant at first and then, DOH! Good one.

:goodvibes

Sorry I'll try harder :flower3: :rotfl2:
I know you will ... :cutie:

Cute, but very short, update DM, another reason to go back hey to get that poster!!! Love how Brookie kissed Chip, we thought the interaction was great there too :thumbsup2
Sadly, I'm thinking the next Disney will be Disneyland in 2009. Next year is a stay home year with maybe a couple side trips. We're looking at visiting Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory. :woohoo: Brookie was quite a smoocher with the characters. You wouldn't catch me doing that, ew!

i can't wait to hear about garden grill! i'm thinking this may be a place anna and chris (my friends that may be going with us in april/may) want to try with their 3-year-old instead of coral reef. i'm hearing some mixed reviews of coral reef lately. just curious about this place!
If the 3-year-old loves Chip & Dale, Mickey & Pluto, then this is the place. They kids loved it!

Love the pics at supper. I used to call them Chip and Dip when I was little!
That's so cute! When you were little, all about last year? :rotfl2: LY/MI.

That happens a lot to me too V. I have to literally write down where I left off as I have missed out on updates sometimes and then feel bad. I am finally getting back in the swing and getting caught up with subbed TRs, sorta-ish.

Sorry about your feet.:guilty:

Cute pics and video!:goodvibes
Yes, the feet. That was a whole big discussion after dinner ... :guilty:

The kiddos were absolutely loving the characters. This was a great place for them. And I don't consider you a REAL Canadian unless you say "eh". I've learned from the best ... Bob & Doug McKenzie ... Bob & Doug's 24th Anniversary

I think we would definitely go back. The food was much better this time than last. Plus the kids loved it!

Sorry about the poster:hug:
I would definitely go back here with my kids. I don't know if I would go without kids. The food was good this time but there was A LOT of character interaction and that would be too much for me without kids. You are bringing a niece or nephew though?

Thanks eh? :lmao:

Of course GG is so darn pricey. Isn't any character meal at Disney World? :confused3 But it was on the DDP and Brookie ate for free and I am all about FREE!!!! Nope, we didn't sneak any meat away. I think I would have probably burst if I had any more to eat.

Brookie sure looks cute w/ chip.... that right there would have made the meal for me.... no matter what the food tasted like.... can't wait for the next update :)popcorn::
All of the pics of her are absolutely priceless. She really enjoyed them. The boys did too! The food was good this time.

Much clearer for me now ;)
I learned from the best. And if you didn't see this link in Lessa's reply, here it is again ... Bob & Doug McKenzie's 24th Anniversary. You can watch it next week.

Loved all your pics - you're children are adorable.

I'm going to save the video for next week when I get my high speed :dance3:
Aren't they the cutest kids ever? I'll totally expect comments from you once you get your high speed ...

glad I changed my ressie to this it looks nice so far.

:thumbsup2
I think you will be happy. If not, uhm, uhm ... it wasn't my fault. ;)

Most excellent. I love those photos! Really captures the moment, eh?

What's the poster? I'm confused. :flower3:

How soon many of you forget. I mean, I wrote the poster update back in July. It wasn't THAT long ago .. :rolleyes1

An excerpt ...

We noticed a bunch of pictures on the wall that we thought were really really cool. You could have your picture taken and they would “insert” you into different scenes throughout The World. One of them really caught our eye. It looked like you were flying over the Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella’s Castle. We wanted to have the 3 kids in that picture. But it was 6:55 pm and the CM said that they couldn’t do it now. We knew we would be back on Thursday so we said no problem, we’ll be back on Thursday.

I must be your bestest reader DM, since I remembered exactly what the poster was.:cutie:

We entered The Land and went over to the Garden Grill to check in. In less than 10 minutes we were shown to our table on the first level.
Does the restaurant really spin? If so, BA wants to know how fast.

(I added the “eh” in there so the Canadian readers could understand a little bit better.)
Nice touch! Throw in some Y'alls for your Southern readers too!

Ok--this is gonna be a 3 day meal????:confused3 ;)
