Everyone knows I love anything chocolate and peanut butter, my favorite food combo in all the world. When the PB Cup character came along, my niece had to get a pic of me with him. As I am standing there waiting for her to take the pic, PB Cup's hand started traveling south if you KWIM Yep I got my butt felt by a peanut butter cup!

Thank you all for your sympathy. I will pass it along to my SIL. I can tell she is a bit drained right now. Times like these I'm glad I'm a poor stay-at-home mom so I can help out.

Love the expression on Brooke's face in this picture.

She was extremely excited to see the characters every time they came around. Gosh! I love looking at her face too!

Oh man! Chip and Dale used to wear really cute farmer overalls at the Land. It was adorable.

I think Brooke may be an actress when she grows up. She is so expressive with her face.

You're right! I didn't even realize they didn't have them on until you mentioned it. Then I went back to my pics from 2003 and sure enough, they had on the overalls! I always think the same thing about Brookie being an actress. She really is very expressive and such a little actress at home. Maybe she can go through the CP and be a Princess ... a mom can dream!

I've always found Chip & Dale to be particularly funny and engaging at GG - glad they didn't disappoint for you guys! Aside from calling you a Loser, of course.

The loser part was funny, just not at that minute. Stupid kid.

The characters really are great at GG aren't they, love the photos and what horrid kid would call Chip a loser At least he wasn't refering to you

They are wonderful there. They came around definitely twice each. And that stupid kid giving the loser sign to Dale. He was taking up OUR time!

I've always been intrigued by this restaurant--does it really serve the fresh veggies from the Land??

I guess it serves the fresh veggies but you're asking the wrong gal. I don't eat veggies. However, I do have a picture coming up next update! No, we did not take the tour. I think the kids would think it's boring ... and probably me too. I'm not a gardener at all!

Now THAT is hilarious. And reminds me of my story....

Back in the 1991 we went to Universal Studios Hollywood. I ran up to get my picture taken with Feivel (remember him?). I had to squat down to hug him. And whoever was in that costume was sure hugging me up close. He (or she?) maybe even copped a quickie feel. I was in a bit of shock afterward but laugh at it now.

Uh--we don't say "cha" very much.
Just "what y'all talkin' about ? or I was a fixin' to head to the Walmart"

Ahh ... you all know how life gets in the way. And I hate when that happens and I can't DIS. Yesterday I had to go to the dentist. No big deal but I also had to run out to BJs Wholesale and pick up "Meet the Robinsons". BJs had it on sale for $14.99!!! And I had to drop off and pick up Brookie from preschool. And we had to go to Wendy's for lunch. All thrilling stuff.

Then at 1:45 pm, the school nurse called and said Alec's ear was hurting him and he was in tears. She said it was bright read inside. So, I called the peds who said they could see him right away. I picked up Alec from school and went to the peds. Turns out Alec has an ear infection. There were no signs at all besides a very very mild cough.

And then Brookie woke up this morning and threw up in bed. She seems fine now ...

So, right now I am free and hope it stays that way ... hope hope hope. And I'm working on my next very brief Garden Grill encounter. And trying to catch up yet again with all your TRs ...

And along came Mickey’s main doggie ... Pluto!

In my video you can hear me say, “I’m taking video.” I found it necessary to tell every character this so they weren’t trying to pose for the camera at all. I wanted the interaction with the kids.

Bring on the food! This was our main platter. It had some sort of beef flank steak, turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce, and catfish and some fresh veggies. Our favorite was the catfish (which was scarfed up before I took the pic). Can you guess which was my least favorite? Anyone? TE?

For dessert, the kids each got a decorate-your-own cupcake. They liked this. Well, mostly the frosting and the sprinkles.

Rob & I split this berry turnover. It was okay. It had custard in it and I am not a big fan of custard. But I liked the berries!

Coming up next is my final update on Garden Grill with the main man himself ... Farmer Mickey!
