I’ll have to say that we both were not impressed. It really lacked any flavor. I really love seafood and this definitely was not good in my opinion. I ate just over half of it. That was fine with me. I did have Alec’s lobster soup and my own crab claws. And there still was dessert to order!

Well - it sounds like Coral Reef hasn't changed since last Bob & I were there - oh, almost 20 years ago!

Nothing is worse than "mediocre seafood".

I'll take the SPANISH COFFEE on the dessert menu......

I have to say that I was really not excited by the food porn from Coral Reef. I know I will never eat there. (I am allergic to shellfish ) I was impressed to see Brooke with her hands on the broccoli. That was until you explained how she handed over the "trees" to Rob.

I am sorry you did not enjoy it as much as you would have liked. Hopefully your dessert will be yummy to make up for the entree's

I started slobbering and moaning when I saw the "Bavarian Cheesecake" on the menu. It's a similar reaction I have to 1 pound bags of M&M's and fried chicken feet. It's all good baby.

My daughter is the foremost expert on Mac & Cheese. She's decided that Yellow Mac&Cheese like you have posted is better than White Mac & Cheese like you get at Ragland. Finally, the Flying Fish has the best Mac & Cheese since they use a Mickey Head shaped pasta. It was quite good but she wouldn't trade me for my Muscles in Marinara.

D got Mahi Mahi one of the nights on the Cabo trip. I tried it, wasn't impressed. Different restaurant, same problem, I'm just not a fish person...

My kids actually LIKE broccoli, and I'm with someone else -did she like the mahi?

Chocolate wave? That does sound good! I accidentally copied over my update with the "dessert" update. So, I had to redo it. Good thing I do nice short ones!

Brookie did not eat her mahi-mahi. It pretty much went to waste. She ate some mash potatoes ... and dessert, of course!

I have to admit that mahi-mahi is not one of my favorite fish but I have had it in Ft Myers and really liked it down there. I guess it all depends on how it is made. You're lucky your kids love broccoli. Mine don't. I don't either. No - Brookie did not eat all her mahi-mahi. I think she had a bite, maybe 2. We tried ...

You can tell Brookie, I am right there with her on the broccoli, at 41 I still will put anything broccoli on my mother's plate when I go out to eat with her.

Too bad about the Mahi Mahi, I haven't read a good reivew about this place in awhile, I was thinking about it for Feb as we will be there during Lent (no meat on Fridays), but not anymore...

We've been to Coral reef a few years ago but the menu just doesn't appeal to me. Now the chocolate, heck yeah it does.
