Aw, thanks! I still love the pictures.Aww! Even somber-faced, Brooke is adorable.
She loved that wand! She still says she misses Cinderella's Castle!Awww, Brooke was too cute in her dress and in that video waving her wand around.
It is too bad that she did not get excited about meeting the princesses. Maybe the next trip will be different.
I'm thinking he could....Great job! Oh no.......do you think he could end up on some calendar somewhere???![]()
You must get a pair of Crocs! I think they are the greatest of great. My favorite are the Crocs Athens! I am sure Brookie will love the Princesses next time around.....I have a confession to make............ I do not own any Crocs......yeah, I know it's the official footwear of TFW but I just always wear tennis shoes at Disney. But.......last week, my DH actually bought a pair to wear at the beach and he LOVED them. He squeaked like a big duck everytime he got wet and had to endure giggles from 2 teenagers, but he swore by their comfort......so maybe I'll try sometime!
I'm glad you had a good time at CRT. I do find myself that often MY expectations are too high! I was so excited to take my niece to see the princesses at Akershus when she was 3 (cause I really liked them and MY girls were getting too old to appreciate the event!).....but she ran from them and cried. Oh well.......she REALLY liked Goofy!
It was really nice. I'm glad we did it although, unless she specifically requested the castle, I think Akershus would be better next time.Looks like a great time at CRT. I think JM was like that too when the princesses came by. I was not there, I skipped that meal. Looks like fun though.

We still giggle a bit when looking at those photos. The girl who loved Hook but was apprehensive about Cinderella...go figure! I heard that you can put your Crocs in the dryer and they will shrink up. So, no shopping for you....Those somber faces are hysterical.lol Years from now you will really get a kick of reminiscing with Brooke about her "lack of emotion" on what MOMMY thought should be the biggest day of her life!
![]()
But that's ok! She looked precious and how wonderful to have a "Mommy & Me" day in CINDERELLA'S CASTLE!![]()
As for the Crocs.... I agree that the Athens are great - but have you found that they start to "stretch out" with wear? I'm starting to slip out of mine. Time for a new pair, maybe?! (any excuse for the Diva to go shopping....)
I jsut finished catching up with your wonderful report! The kids seem like they had the most magical time ever! Can't wait to go.
She is used to sword fighting with her brothers so I'm sure some of that worked it way into the wand waving! It still was wonderful to have her all to myself in such a magical place!that video of brooke wielding her wand like peter pan's sword is adorable! what a sweet, stone-faced, girls-only lunch you got to have![]()

I think it is written somewhere in
Disney law books that everyone must take a picture of the castle each and
every time they visit the Magic Kingdom...

Im not a big Small World fan but it really brought me joy just to watch Brookie during it.

As we passed through the FP line, the CM at the front of the line forgot to
take my FP ticket. I almost turned around but then I pocketed it. Brookie just
loved the Tigger part where the honey pot bounces. When we got off Pooh,
Brookie wanted to ride again. So, back in the FP line we went with the
pocketed FP. Did I feel bad about doing that? Heck no! I considered it my
own Dream FP.
While we were checking in a very nice CM came up to us and told us that Brookie would be the Honorary Princess of the Day!They put this little sticker on her gown...
So we were both escorted in and Cinderella comes right up to Brooke and greets her as a Princess. Brooke froze. HUH?? What the fudge? Okay, I was sure that Brooke would totally lighten up sitting beside Cinderella to get her picture taken but she just wouldnt budge. I had to pick her up and sit her beside Cinderella. And this is the photo that we received....

We were then told to make our way up the long spiral staircase.
This staircase seemed like it went on forever. The CM actually asked me if I could pick Brooke up to move a bit faster.
Brookie received her magical wand and was extremely happy with that...

Along came my appetizer which I am not sure exactly what everything is. I know it had some thin meats, a small salad, and some marinated chicken plus cheese. Most of it was good.
And this was our table runner. I love fleur de lis...
![]()
First up, Belle...
![]()
Oh dear. Back to the somber face. Well, how about Snow White?
![]()
Then it was time for the Wishing Star ceremony. Brookie did get into this.
The first you will have to forgive me because me being a duh-head
angled my camera vertically but I absolutely love when I tell Brookie to close her eyes...
So, that concluded our lunch in Cinderellas Royal Table.
& Thank You so much for posting My Pic on Your Thread also!!!!!!
& I think Yours & TE's Dh's Are also just as good Looking!!!!

subscribing- what a great report!
It was still fun. Maybe some of the pictures of a blank face Brookie didn't look like it but she was all smiles when the Princesses were not around!Wow-- some fantastic updates while I was away for a few days!!!
Great tip-- I wrote it down for future reference!
Honorary princess--how cool![]()
Somber faces with the princesses---isn't that always the way when we parents expect the cutest pictures?![]()
But the lunch sounded good and like my daughter says, you are making memories together!!!
thanks for the fun stories!!![]()
I could have taken a lot more pictures because it is very pretty inside. I just took what I especially liked. Definitely a one-time place to eat. Those pics from the restaurant are awesome! I've never been able to eat there before so you allowed me to see what it's like in there! Even though you didn't have a GREAT view from the window, you are right-it's better than being in the middle of the room!
I'm thinking the "face" characters were the reason. Oh well, she still talks about it even now! I was pretty sure those were coats of arms but I always hate being wrong so I 2nd guess myself.DM- Brookie looks just adorable. Maybe she was a bit intimidated by it all, and that was why she had such a somber look. The videos were cute. And yes those are coats of arms.
Brooke was going slow, mainly because her gown was a bit long so it was hard to climb the stairs. I was a bit taken aback by them suggesting I carry her but I thought about the other people behind us and figured they would want us to pick up the pace. I think those pictures are hilarious! Ha-cha-cha!Great Update DM....
I was Shocked By the CM's saying hurry up the Stairs!!!!
But what great Pics & the Video was Great also!!!!!
& Thank You so much for posting My Pic on Your Thread also!!!!!!
& I think Yours & TE's Dh's Are also just as good Looking!!!!![]()
How adorable! By the time we go to Disney next time, I'm sure she will be that much more confident. She already is much more comfortable with the characters than the boys were at that age!Come, now, DM.... do you really think I need an "excuse" to shop?!![]()
As for "Princess Apprehension"...lol Dana at 14 STILL runs from Goofyand at age 3 she wasn't too thrilled with Captain Hook, but this was her reaction to Snow White!...

Thank you so much! Next update will probably be on Monday as we have 2 birthday parties this weekend!!!Brooke is soooo cute! Can't wait for the next addition to the TR
![]()
I'm sure that the Princesses being "face" characters that talked probably is the reason why Brookie froze up. I still had fun and so did she (when they weren't at our table!). I haven't seen the Alice Crocs yet, except when you posted them. Rob will have my head if I buy another pair of Crocs right now....Aww, the pics are SO cute, even with the stone face. Here's my theory:
Do you think she liked the CP characters and Cap't Hook because they have the cartoon faces, where the princesses, as loverly (ha!) and close as they try to get them to the illustrations, are, well, human? So, they don't look quite right to her?![]()
I have to chime in - I had no Crocs until two days ago, when my ShoeBuy Prima pair arrived and also found the new Alice ones in the local store. These are the slimmer styles, and I ADORE them. I couldn't wear the Athens I bought - DH got them, as they were way to big width-wise for me. The "cushiness" factor is to die for, and my two styles aren't even as soft as the Athens...![]()
Thank you! It was an especially special day for the 2 of us and I hope we have many many more.Great update. The pictures and videos are adorable.

Evan is very proud of himself on Summit Plummet! I love Ellen! She is just the funniest ever!!! I don't think that Snow White was that bad but the makeup was a bit extreme. Belle was nice and looked good but a bit old. Jasmine (no pic) was the talkiest of all of the Princesses. She didn't care that Brookie just sat there and stared. She just jibber-jabbered away. I remembered your video of Captain Jack and was thinking about my video as I was watching yours! I made me feel better that I wasn't the only duh-head. That's funny that you say you have the same picture of you Mom! It's tough to compare my baby with a mom!!Ok finally caught up great updates DM!![]()
Love that Evan did Summit Plummet, poor Alec though.
Awww! I have a pic of my mom with the same expression, she absolutely loves that ride.
Score! I would've done the same thing.![]()
Awwww, it looks like she just woke up. At least Cindy looked nice and didn't have crazy eye shadow as my Akershus Cindy.
In my best Ellen DeGeneres voice How Dare She!
I thought the same thing. The cheeses were really good though.
I was gonna take a pic of the table runner on our visit, but I didn't think it would come out. Darn!
Aw Brooke... I wonder what was up.That's a pretty good Belle though.
![]()
I'm sorry, but that is a very bad Snow White
![]()
Wooohooo! I really enjoyed the Wishing Ceremony and was envious of all the little Princesses wih their wands.![]()
Don't worry DM I did the same thing as I was videoing Capt. Jack and Wishes. I thought it would work like a camcorder, what did I know!![]()
Great update and your Mommy & daughter day seems to be going great.![]()
I think Cinderella looked absolutely beautiful. Her voice was amazing. She had to be my favorite. Snow White could have toned down the makeup but I know it's not up to her to do it. Belle was very good but, yes, she was a tad too old. I don't know about the height thingie...Princess Review:
Cinderella--for the eye makeup as aforementioned--she has been known to prefer the "frosted sky-blue" 80's style look.....and she probably was a baby then! But her jaw line does not look like it should--needs to be rounder. Plastic surgery may be on the horizon to keep her job!
Snow White--I like the one in the old picture better--given that our girls are both 14--it may be the same one in my older pics. A little more natural expression.
Belle-good facial expression and makeup, but may be a little old for the part. How old is Belle in the story??
They had a great one there when BA was 2 (8 years ago)--she hugged her and spent a lot of time with her.
I heard somewhere that height is a main factor in character auditions with Alice and Peter Pan needing shorter folks.
